Cars like the Corvette, Chevelle, Malibu, and Impala with a classic V8 were embedded in the fabric of American culture and still look absolutely stunning to this day.
That is so correct. I was never a huge Ford guy as far as what i owned and drove including a '67 Corvette 427 lift off hard top and '67 Malibu SS 396 but big block FE powered Galaxie's from the early to mid 60's are to me exceedingly drool worthy cars.

Totally disagree on the seats, it would be a crime to put high backs in this car
Doubtful that particular Corvette will ever get rear ended it’s more likely to rear end somebody but you are right about the seats
Hoovie gets rear ended every time he buys a car. Seats won't help.
A dream car, looks clean just needs some love. Hopefully I find my self in a situation with something like this in the future.
Best car buy ever!! Waiting to see what the clutch fan, and lifter adjustment does.. O yes.. And the carb swap.
I cannot believe no one popped off that radiator cap for a quick inspection before Hoovie's test drive.
Me too. Me bet is that the fame is starting to take place on Wizard's head. The Lamborghini steering rack I can't stop thinking too that is something that could be prevented or checked before. Some folks told about wrong hose installation or a valve. Let's see what will happen.
He did in the earlier video. The water didn't get rusty until it was run for a length of time. All the rust buildup was on the head not the radiator.
they checked in the first video
I came looking for this comment... Makes the wizard look bad, I mean get a new car go through everything but they must do this for views.
or clean a carburator that has been stored for 5 years. I leave my motorcycle for 6 months unused and it gets al gunked up
Its nice being familiar enough with these channels to get all of the inside jokes
Facts watching this channel is like a fun family reunion only that’s it’s only the family you like
I'm not a big GM fan (especially in the contemporary landscape), but man classic American cars have such an iconic aesthetic that you have to love and appreciate.
That is beautiful. And I LOVE the gauges. I have a 96 and wish it had those gauges.
GM: we just made this car, how can we verify it’s solid.
Hoovie : I can do it!
GM : yep back to the drawing board guys
Lol the car is 50 years old what did you expect?
"Back to the drawing board" at GM means: "how can we make it cheaper and have even more profit?"
@@jsz2619 that's typical GM for you
I was actually picturing Coleman, Randolph, and Mortimer representing GM holding their hands out saying "nooo" in unison.
@@jjchmiel78 🤣
"It shouldn't be driving this well"
Corvette: OK buddy
I can’t get over how beautiful that car is.
we need to see more of the corvette, its beautiful.
At this point, Tyler should own a percentage of Omega Auto Clinic
Surely any good shop would do a health check on a "barn Find" i know mine does when i bring them a barn find bike.
Yeah, this is entirely on the Car 'Wizard'. He's pretty constantly showing how poor of a mechanic he actually is.
@@dquad I wouldn't say that obviously the shop doesn't do as it would remove half of Hoovies content
I agree with some other comments that this was staged and the coolant was deliberately missed to ensure another more interesting video.
Holy cow! The wizard did an excellent job on the Corvette. *EJ bows* I use MSD products for my Corvette too!
That conquest/starion that was in the shop would be a great addition.
Lol wizard made me chuckle when he said, speaking of sewage drainage I need to go to the bathroom lol
That pan was full of God knows what but, what ever it was did not come out of that engine, It's all about stage craft, makes for a funny situation. Cars in junk yards have less contaminants in the cooling systems than what ever was in THAT pan. Edit: check that, upon a second viewing that rust is real and dang near ruined a great aluminum radiator.
That Corvette in that color is so sexy! Stunning!
Such a great car. Looking forward to seeing more about its journey back to full health ...
This is very interesting. Thank you Hewvie.
Would like to see more plz.
