In Paramedic school, you start off with clinical time where you hone your paramedic skills. Next you will be sent for ride-time with senior paramedics during school to put together all you've learned.
After passing your NREMT-Paramedic exam, you then have precepting with your EMS agency and then your medical control ride with the emergency department physician. You are now a new paramedic!
I want to help you as a new paramedic. These are the 6 most common rookie paramedic mistakes I've seen and how to correct each one.
If you are just starting paramedic school, this video will be very helpful to you as well and get prepared for clinical and ride time.

Just wanted to say this video dropped at the right time! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I just started my ride time with my preceptor as a medic student. All of your points in this video are 💯
All of your 6 points are exactly the things I have realized I need to work on that will be crucial for my success or failure as a medic.
Bravo and thank you for confirming and reinforcing my realizations!

I’m studying the NREMT accelerator and just wanted to say thank you for explaining things the way you do. I went to Seminole State college of Florida and I’ll just say I can’t learn from PowerPoints.. I wish I would’ve bought the program before class started.
    Thank you 🤝🏽

Hi I’m Chris I currently hold an advanced emt license but have been out of the industry for a year and I am considering going to paramedic school, my question may sound strange but in my 6 year stretch between being a basic and working as an advanced I was always talked down to and bullied because I was not that coveted gold patch this included the supervisor in your opinion why do some people have that God complex and that mentality of your useless unless you’re gold and when when I become a paramedic do you have any advice on how to NEVER let myself slip into that trap this may sound like a stupid question and I’m sorry if it does your content is fantastic keep up the good work
