He was the best Scottish player ever for me. I'm a Ger and I'm no fan of Liverpool, but he was a proper superstar. He was a gifted, skilful, clever player but a very humble, decent man. I will never forget how he represented Liverpool, the families and fans following Hillsborough. He is just a good human being.

My Dad, George Shields (Kenny's former boss), appears in this video. Sadly he passed away on 11th September last year. We were fortunate enough to have a VHS recording of this and last summer my brother got in converted to DVD and sent it to Liverpool FC as they didn't have a copy. Lovely to see it has now made its way on to You Tube.

Celtic lost to Airdrie, who sadly got relegated, with Celtic winning the 1st Division. After this one, they could have easily done a Volume 2 and Volume 3 for Kenny. He fully deserves any accolade and tribute. His conduct and humility is something in itself that deserves applause. A pure Gentleman!

Footballing genius. Brilliant creative player who could finish as good as anyone. Don't think there was anyone else of his generation to be compared to.In his prime there wouldn't be a team on earth that wouldn't want him, and that would be the same today. Great footballing brain and awareness.

It is quite touching how shy and modest he is, he used to give his match tickets to unemployed fans, him and Marina are just genuinely good people. He inherited his shyness from his Mum and humour from his Dad it seems. The only shame here is they had another baby 5 years later Lauren who missed out on this!

      Is Kenny Dalglish gay?
I saw a poster of Everton fans that said: "Kenny Dalglish is a homosexual", as well as on CZcams, which has a video of Everton fans shouting in the stadium: Kenny Dalglish is a Homosexual.
Can you guys kindly clear up this doubt for me?
In my opinion Kenny Dalglish and Michel Platini were the best European players in the first half of the 80s. It's a pity Kenny never won a golden ball, because at that time Liverpool won the Champions League three times.
Kenny Dalglish is among my 10 favourite players, as are George Best and Bobby Charlton.
      Greetings from Rio de Janeiro/Brazil!

@RobyBaggio10 - Kenny Dalglish is not gay. He has a wife and 4 children. It's just Evertonians being stupid and homophobic.

@@RobyBaggio10 Hi mate, as Dave said Kenny is straight, he has a wife and 4 children. Everton fans have always been bitter and were jealous of our success which he was a huge part of. Rio is such a beautiful place, I hope you saw the documentary Liverpool are showing about Bobby Firmino it shows Rio. YNWA
