  • Installing Poly Fiber fabric on the 2016 Alaska Airmen Super Cub raffle plane. As simple as it may seem, poly fiber fabric is 100% polyester.
Total fabric and coating weight is about 60 pounds. There are just six basic steps: Glue on the fabric with our Poly-Tak fabric cement; tighten it with the heat of a calibrated clothing iron. Brush on a coat of Poly-Brush fabric sealer. Riblace, then apply gussets and finishing tapes with more Poly-Brush. Spray on two more coats of Poly-Brush. Spray on three cross coats of silver Poly-Spray to block ultraviolet radiation. Spray on three coats of top coat paint. For more information on the poly fiber process, visit www.polyfiber.com.

I'm watching this video and I'm saying to myself, something looks very familiar about this hangar, then I see this plane that says Sheldon Air Service, I flew in that plane last summer, up to Ruth glacier. I was in King Salmon AK for work last year during the salmon season, my job finished early, so I took a couple of days to sight see. When I got back to Anchorage airport, I got a rental car and drove to Talkeetna and got a flight with Sheldon Air Service, our pilot was Jock, (not sure how it's spelled), what a flight! So, I got a couple of pictures of that hangar and Dons cub, what a day, I'll never forget that one.

Hola. Trabajo en un avion de aeromodelismo de gran escala. Quisiera saber que barniz utilizo para mojar la tela. Desde ya muchas gracias. Saludos desde Argentina.

I’m starting to do my fabric. What do you thin your glue with and is it poly tac that you use? Thanks!

Forget the music and narrate the film so people know what you are doing.

Now if that was in real time it would be instructional but, in truth, I can`t see the purpose of this vid.
