  • Recorded on July 27 2019 the day after the Horseshoe Curve derailment
First a very loud, slow, long, and heavy monster mixed freight 39G crawls up through the steep grade with 3 units all notched out and lots of gravel cars all loaded and with the assist of 2 helpers still only manages to only reach about 10 MPH. As the train ends through the curve another monster mixed freight 10K rounds the curve with DPU's including the Erie heritage unit and a set of helpers. As the DPU's pass by the approach of a slow, and long westbound stack train 25Z starts to round the curve with no rear end helpers. As the stack train still passes by after 10K ends the curve Amtrak is right behind the 10K moving slowly on track 1, after Amtrak and 25Z pass through the curve ends the Mayhem Of Trains. This had to have been the highlight of the weekend seeing 4 trains one after another in 30 minutes. This video can also be nicknamed the MAYHEM OF TRAINS. Hope You Enjoy!!
    Trains include 39G, 10K, 25Z, and Amtrak 04T

Outstanding catch... Right place at the right time! How many cars made up the consist on the first train? Bonus having Amtrak pass on the inside track. Love the natural sound of steel on steel. Haven't been to the Horseshoe. It must have been awesome being there at that moment. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍👍
