    Love your videos , thank you I have a queastion. When you check your oil do you screw it in and pull it out and check or ? Just dip and check and do not screw in I have seen both ways I’m trying to figure it out .

    Awesome video sir! Just changed my first oil change with my new/used 2017 YFZ450R. Loved the tips and tricks. Followed exactly each step and it was a successful day. Thank you!
    Can you make an instructional video showing how to drain and flush with distilled water (2 gallons) and fill the system with Yamalube Yamacool coolant or equivalent? Also, how to handle the poorly designed coolant reservoir to empty and refill coolant easily, if possible?
    I can’t wait to see your tips and tricks for that!
    The only close video I’m seeing on CZcams, is 6 years old and not explained very well.
    Thank you in advance!!

    Thank you so much for the video bro!! I just did my first oil change on my 2022 SE… same as yours homie!!!
    I also took your advice with the Vortex… throttle response is amazing and right on point!!! Lil question tho… I went with Map 1 and 4’s for low, med, high…. Seems really good except when I let off on the throttle after high RPM’s… sometimes she’ll let out a back fire… does that mean she’s rich?
    I live in Maine… otherwise I’d take a trip too come see you!!! Just wondering what a backfire means after letting off the throttle after high rpm?

    Hey, quick question, am i supposed to pour all 1.94L into the oil tank/reservoir, or do i pour part of it into the crankcase? Is it important?

    Bro I have over tighten my bottom oil plug. I've got a new one to go back in it but a friend busted his case like that and told me to leave it alone so now when I change my oil I take the one out of the side and pick the quad up on its side. A few times I have took the oil side cover off where you pour it in.

    Hey what's going on buddy like your show on CZcams I have a quick question I have jalals clutch and oil cover since I installed them on I noticed on the glass on both there is like a white residue or like Steam evaporating and it can't come out is that normal I never noticed that too now to I had the clear covers on do that mean something thank you very much please let me know preciate it

      Thank you! I have seen it sometimes on a new one until they get broken in. If anything I’d contact JLS directly and advise them of the issue and see what they say.

      @@sarmientomotorsports910 thank you very much for replying back yes I really had contact them but it really don't have nothing to do with them I was just thinking would you think that be some kind of moisture in the engine at all like I said before now that I have the clutch and the oil clear cover I have noticed that when the quad is warmed up like it wants evaporate like a water bottle when you leave it in the sun but nowhere to escape so it sticks on to the clear glass would that indicate anyting in the engine I have changed the oil several times already and I change my oil every 15 hours of riding and it does it with new and fresh oil an old oil as well

      My bottom oil drin bolt i way over tightened it. I've got a new one to go in it but I'm afraid to mess with it I tried once but stopped. A friend told me he busted his case trying to loosen one told me just to leave it alone. So four months I just loosen the one on the side and pick my yfz up from other side. Also take the side cover off where you put the oil in and let some out there.

      @kaseyjohns5169 Před 2 lety

      You think I should just leave it alone or do you think I should try to loosen it I can't afford to buy a case right now

    you sound like you know damn near anything about these lol. for checking the valve lash do you just leave it at top dead to check intake and exhaust or do you do a 180 turn for the exhaust valves

    • @sarmientomotorsports910
      @sarmientomotorsports910  Před 2 lety +1

      You want to do it anywhere in the compression stroke. Preferably when both cans are facing away from each other. You’ll see the timing marks line up on the cams lining up to the head. And the timing mark at the fly wheel will be visible.
