Beyond this VS2600 training video, what are the optimal speed settings and durations in hours given 600-3000 rpm, the volume of the pool, the size of the piping, the cost of electricity kWH, type of filter cartridge, temperature of the water and other appropriate variables, Seems like this could be reduced to a graph for us users. Does this have a built in timer or do I need a separate timer? I just don’t want to run it during Peak hours and do low speed the rest of the day with 2 hours of high speed. Is that possible or a good plan for 10,000gallons

Hi. I'm wondering if it's okay to run this pump at max speed all the time ? Anything below that and the spillover will not function properly. I'm also wondering if it's okay for my 16,000 gallon in ground pool ? Last question, if both are okay, is there a way to quiet it down ? Perhaps putting rubber underneath it ? It's way too loud. I just purchased the Hayward Super Pump VS and it does not match the configuration as described. On the pump I received you do not set the run time by setting a number of hours from 30 minutes to 23 and a half hours but you have to set a start and stop time for V1, V2, and V3. Also default settings are V1 at 1500 rpm from 12:00PM-8:00AM, V2 at 8:00AM to 12:00PM and V3 Deactivated and not what this video shows.

My pump seems to have suffered a brain fart. Even after trying to reset to default, all I get is a flashing reset. It will not reset. It will not run. And I too do not know how to “DM” via CZcams. Gonna have to buy a new pump I reckon.
Hi Rich, we’d need to know the model number of the pump. You will find the model number on a black and silver label near the square basket lid. Also private message your phone number on Facebook if you’d like someone to call you on Monday.
The 64 failure code on the SP2600VSP means there is a circuit error in the drive on top of the motor. The only repair is to replace the drive and motor. It would be a different motor and drive but update from the original. The part number for the motor and drive is SPX2600Z1VSPE.
