Guile is too tall in the Storm line. He's only 5'11'' and Sagat is nearly 7'5''
Guile is actually 6’1” according to Street Fighter II.
Yeah he is but so is ryu and everyone else but guile should be much closer to ryu in height with his hair meeting the top of sagats bicep

Storm's just amazing; they're my current favourite toy company. Storm really captured Sagat's and M Bison's classic scowl/grimace that I feel other companies like SH Figuarts didn't translate as well. Comparing these figures alone, I gotta give my bet to Sagat as well in a Sagat vs Goro fight
God damn. Really hope they do a version of him in his SFV outfit and fix that neck issue. That'd be killer!
You can hear the excitement in his voice when he speaks about the articulations lol awesome job Anthony.

I love this figure. I spent almost $600 at Storms booth at SDCC. I bought the P1 colors though not the sDCC exclusive colors. I usually avoid spending money at SDCC for figures I can get online but I had to grab these.
I don’t know man this one kills the blue shorts one I love how theyre off whitelike the turbo cover this figure is sick both but this sdcc sagat is a gorgeous figure

Great review, I wish Sagat came with a set of crossed arms to pull off the laughing win pose, also his arms could be just a bit longer.

Great review of Sagat. Storm Collectibles' Street Fighter figures have pretty much all been good to great (I gave up on the SH Figuarts line because of them), and this guy is a definite must buy.

This Sagat looks GREAT, even if a bit limited in certain areas. It's a shame that Storm doesn't seem to fully get how Ryu is supposed to look (imo), 'cause I would love to have all main characters in classic fighting games in the same line. Their version of KOF's Kyo seems like a fantastic release, despite his overall looks being not very faithful to SNK's aesthetics and more in line with "a capcom rendition of it" instead. The upcoming Terry Bogard is going to be awesome if they manage to include cool facial expressions.

They did an excellent job of sculpting his pecks but still leaving his butterfly joints usable! I wish Hasbro had went this route with there new incredible hulk figure. Sagat still looks like a beast but he can clap his hands too (can he clap his hand together anthony? -not that sagat would need too..)

Damn, i don't even play Street fighter and i still want this figure so soo much now, damn he is a cool dude! Did play on like SNES or PS1 or something (sorry all exclusive console games polices for not remembering witch console it was) and Sagat was always one of my favorites, looking so evil and just cool! I wan't it now, love from Sweden!

If they want to get the most mileage from this figure, they should reuse the sculpt and tweak it a bit to make Sagat in his SFV outfit. I'd buy both versions for sure.

Hey Anthony, do you think this Sagat can be fudged into a SHF Display, I only collect in the 1/12 Scale and Storm tends to scale larger than 7, would he and the previous Zangief fit into my display?
He's over 9ft tall at 1:12 scale
I do think the wraps at the old Sota line nails it realistically. Those wraps look painted... Or Spandex thin...
They would be thin. The sota ones are unrealistically thick.

It isn't meant to be removed because it doesn't hinder articulation.

Wow if Sagat is that Big imagine a Hugo figure and I know Abigail is bigger but sorry I don’t care for that little headed unrealistic Abigail..... Hugo is the true Giant and I want a figure of him.
Also a Hugo would absolutely dwarf Goro.

If this was Street Fighter II I would start buying this line but I only played Ultra a few times. I want the action figures from the game I played to exhaustion in the arcade from a café near by my place that got my mom and dad very mad at me for steeling some coins from them. But man ho man, I could clear all characters with perfects using only Shoryuken (maybe a sucker punch or kick here and there) and almost all my friends in a fair fight (César we still have that rematch waiting). The figures are actually very good so I may eventually get the Street Fighter II characters from the Ultra line Storm is releasing and I may have to buy them fast or they will go up in price, they are still available at retail price but I don't think that will last. Do you think Storm will eventually release a Street Fighter II line? Great review as usual, we could see you really liked this one, thank you Anthony.
Ultra SF is the SF2 line. It's literally the same game with a couple of extra pallet swap characters
And different character designs...
I know Ultra has all the original ones and that is why I said I may buy the characters from the II that are also present in the Ultra. I believe every game version as all the original characters from Street Fighter II (the ones you could play with and the ones you couldn't) but I may be wrong I haven't played a lot of Street fighter since the II' champions edition (there you could play the villains to). They just look a bit different from the champions edition forward but I believe that was only better graphics the basic design was the same. Maybe what I should have asked was if you think they will end up releasing the complete set (including remakes on the V versions like they did to Ryu and Ken) of characters from Street Fighter II. When you say different character designs you meant new characters altogether didn't you Anthony? Because Ultra has new 5 new characters that Street fighter II' Champions Edition didn't had. Thank you for the answers though.

Why not compare his height with Zangief. He is suppose to be taller than Gief.
He's taller than everyone... Your logic doesn't make sense. Sagat and Zangief have no connection. You can use the measured heights to compare him to any figure you like.

Nice review man. The head is the best, in my opinion it is too bulky and muscular. Sota sculpted a better body, but anyways this is a nice figure.

Seems like storm is kinda figuring things out as they go, some figures come out better than others, some do have legs and parts that pop off too easy, but it does seem like they’re improving with each release, hopefully they make all the street fighter/mortal kombat characters
