Bruno mars continues to inspire so many asians, latino, (brown or whatever nationality you are)it doesn’t matter what you look like, how tall or short you are, if you’re talented and you work hard, make amazing music only, you can succeed.
I dont think it's JUST talent though there's so many examples of incredibly talented artists better then a lot of mainstream that never blow up, luck has a HUGE part to play in actually getting that success

This really speaks to me. I'm not a professional musician, but I have to leave my job soon because my boss, who's training me (I'm a pharmacy tech in training), wasn't able to handle running a business and teaching me how to be a tech. It hurt me a lot, and I thought I wasn't special, but it's just one of those things in life. You can't stay in the same place your whole life, you can't navigate your way to the top if you don't take those opportunities now. Hope this helps

Diddy was always a weird, crazy and nervous person. But Clive Davis had faith in him and took a chance investing in Bad Boy. Back then labels would invest in a talent with faith and trust, which is extremely rare now.

About Kanye, Jensen Karp wrote a book called "Kanye West owes me 300" and there's a part where he tells that Kanye played an early version of Jesus Walks to a room full of producers and A&R's just like he did in his Netflix documentary.
At first, people gave him a positive feedback, but when he leaves the room they were laughing at him and mocked Kanye's voice. One of them even said to never let Kanye peform like that again.
Little did this people know that Jesus Walks would win a Grammy for best rap song.

Ive always thought 50 was mid to be honest. He just has a story, and everyone knew he was really in the streets so he has that level of authenticity. Just my opinion but i never really got the hype.
