I hate how the public are so obsessed with a star's s*x life. It’s because he had so much sex appeal - his dancing, his music etc. and people were confused by the absence of romantic interests. Here’s a guy famous for grabbing his junk and doing pelvic thrusts singing “the way you turn me on” and people wanted to know who he was. It was the mystery of how polar opposite he was in interviews- the image of innocence and soft spoken humility. But I believe he had a lot of passion and sexual desire which he was unable to give or receive in his private life during his own coming of age so he expressed it in his music and dancing. No one in his inner circle would allow him to get close to anyone because they thought it would be bad for his career. If he was gay, he would certainly feel he couldn’t trust anyone enough to share that. So he may have felt the only people he could trust and share his own desires with and who, like him, were not experienced in sex, were other inexperienced males.

Michael's view(s) on sex got warped when he was almost a baby. He and his brothers were performing in strip clubs when he was 5 (seeing stuff he shouldn't see), he knew his dad was cheating on his mom when they were on the road and he couldn't say anything, his brothers were having sex with groupies while he was in the room, older girls/women were throwing themselves at him when it was TOTALLY age-inappropriate, and he wasn't in school around other kids his age (going through the normal "rites of passage" and comparing notes) to even know what "normal" was. That HAS to affect how you feel about physical intimacy - even when you're older. And let's remember, he said he didn't even have friends for most of his life. The idea of being naked and vulnerable with someone - not really knowing their intentions - was a helluva hurdle to get over. Also (and I don't mean this in a disrespectful way), he just didn't seem to have the highest sex drive in the world. Sexy? Absolutely. But offstage, it just didn't seem like his interests ran in that direction. Obviously, at a certain point, he couldn't go out to "chase women," but he didn't seem to have any interest in having them come to him either. I think he got stuck thinking of "romantic love" in a childlike way for a long time - and the things that came with an "adult" relationship terrified him. I do think it's interesting that his religion (or "saving myself for marriage") didn't seem to have anything to do with his hesitancy though; he knew what Tatum was planning, went to her house, and got on the bed anyway; apparently, he tried, but just couldn't muster up the courage to go through with it.

She said she would come with him on set while he was filming sometimes. She also said that she would be at his apartment at times, cooking for him and washing his laundry, and that they supposedly kissed. (And that she had seen him in his underwear before chile). But it didn't go further than that. They may have liked each other but it seems I guess that they didn't further continue the friendship or relationship. And honestly I've never really seen or heard Michael talk about her. She kept saying she wanted to marry him though....

Y'know, I always thought that his role in the movie, The Wiz was FAR BENEATH Michael Jackson's talent. He deserves a REAL movie role that would've SHOWED OFF his INCREDIBLE TALENT. That role as the scarecrow in The Wiz was really CHEESY and he could've done better.
