The world is a darker and sadder place without the beautiful light and soul of George Michael.
Well said ❤
True, but the world is also a shinier and happier place with the legacy he left us, his beautiful music and voice.❤❤
No it's not its awesome
😂 dude was satan
Stop using drugs. There's no such thing as beautiful light in any high that drugs provide.
It freaking pisses me off when some people are more concerned about someone’s sex life instead of just admiring them as phenomenal musicians. It is none of our business!!!
It is the public's interest what they do in public. He committed offences in public multiple times.
I agree❤❤
Public toilets was his hang out , 😮
@@shonabeggs4640It was all said in court. Not a secret.
But some people just use it - videos and so on - to make money because they can't do anything great and remarkable.
@@shonabeggs4640 Those particular incidents may warrant questioning, but you’d be intellectually dishonest if you think those particular incidents motivated everyone to all of sudden question his sexuality because I dare say, they were in his business also prior to those episodes.
Passing away alone on Christmas eve remains tragic.
That pneumonia was a warning.
I wondered if he had hiv and why he had pneumonia a couple of times and other health problems, and why he turned to drugs...gone to soon anyway.

Great music NEVER gets old. The 80's was the best decade ever.
No way! The 70s has the best music, you can’t compare this to the punk, reggae, funk, etc, that emerged in the 70s
This was vacuous pop. It was far from great.
@@Workingclasshero368 Yes I loved the 70's music as well. I am so luck to have been born in 1966, so I could experience the best music. I was just to young to hang out with my older cousins.
EVER!!
@@castlerock58 Hisbest music was solo. Not vacuous pop. You clearly have only listened to Wham.
A great artist. His private life is nobodys buisiness. It breaks my heart for what he was going through.
Mine too😢 I miss him, great artist and human
Right, it’s nobody’s business. But, I think that millions of his fans just hated to see him destroy himself, and they cared.
He was a gay idiot.i don't want children to know about people like him
I love you George Michael 💕💕🎉🎉❤
You sound gay
I saw this title and wanted to comment. I knew someone in the early 2000s who was one of MIchael's sound people. He had a private plane for his entire crew; none of them flew coach. He paid them very well, treated them well - I got to see him (comp tickets from my friend) not long before he died. His show was fabulous- he voice was still strong and he performed 100%. I cried when I heard he died because he was one of the Good ones; he was always lovely, courteous, smiling - even though those who didn't know him exposed some embarrassing moments of his that would have destroyed most people, he did his best to answer journalists' and talk show hosts' questions about his personal life, never getting angry or acting defensive. He just grinned and bore it with a lovely smile. I won't watch this video. I really don't want to dig into more dirt than I know about him. I'll keep my nice memories of his gorgeous, smiling face, and keep dancing to FAITH. I'll leave this dirt for someone else.
💜
The stigma was bad enough. You sound like one of the good ones as well.
Thanks for sharing
That's a beautiful tribute, thank you❤

Well said! Always Gorgeous George! ❤
Imagine if he was still alive and what he would have written and sang new songs, a great loss indeed. Miss you George!

What a voice!!❤❤❤❤❤

Getting hounded by the pap and media should be outlawed its so overdue....its outright criminal behaviour.
It was a shame that George Michael didn’t want to do a world tour with Queen. He was just as good if not better in vocals department than Freddie. Maybe that was 1 of the factors not to do it.
He deserved the rights to HIS music 🎶🎶🎶
Absolutely 💯!!! Shame on Sony!!!
They all do.
@@daynasafranek7807 Yep that mob with big noses have usurped the entire wealth of the planet....
Yes he did, they all do. 🎶
Havent they have done this to all the greatest artists?
The more famous you become, the more you lose of yourself.
And the more Creepy shit you're willing to get involved in. And this guy was right up there. Hedonist
would be the word.
💯
You’re rich and famous with no actual power base of your own is a problem.
If I had children, there would be no way I would let them go in to the music business. As George said, it filled his pockets but emptied out his soul.
Wow, folks.... heavy stuff🥲🤔
I'm still sad hes not with us. thanks for this presentation. at 55 I remember ALL of this.
many artists, like him, do not stop to fully recuperate from all of their performances and thereby compromise their immune system, it's very sad
À beautiful man with a beautiful voice that will live forever.
Well no.. he s dead
Not funny 🤬
@silviaalatzia3413 but his art still alive, and the people still listening and interacting with his songs and albums Even the new generation
Whatever his personal life, there’s no denying that George Michael was an incredibly talented artist. He was a pop idol who brought so many singles to no.1 and then moved onto ballads and covers from some of the world’s top artists. He was an icon and had the most beautiful voice and produced some wonderful albums. He may have been a victim of mass media and passed away too soon but his name and amazing music will live on. What a magnificent legacy he left us with.
Talented artist is a bit of a stretch. I think he was a good performer
@@user-dk6vf4mf9t No, he was talented. I'm not usually a pop fan, but his dance songs were among the best ever. I couldn't ever stay sitting when the DJ began spinning a George Michael song during the decades that I used to go out and dance. He had It.
Well said ❤
Well said 👏 ❤thank you from a huge George fan x
@@user-dk6vf4mf9t So exactly how would you define talent? Personal taste is irrelevant when it comes to recognising an artist as being great at what they do. There are many singers, painters, authors etc who I would not classify as being amongst my favourites but that has no reflection on their skill or expertise.
It is a shame that record companies are so predatorily corrupt. Using talent and giving zero back to the artist that made them millions. RIP George; your music lives on and your talent never forgotten ❤
He was a multi millionaire
He was a multi millionaire ....
I am a straight man, and if a gay man wants to cruise , meaning have casual sex, it is precisely non of my business or anyone else's, who are these people that think they can pass judgement on others. As an adult you have total freedom to choose your own pastimes.
@@MarleneWalker-su8ku True enough... but there are likely to be difficult consequences to a life of hedonistic sex, whatever the sexuality. It's risky behaviour.
@@TheMockatiel not about the money. He was not allowed to own rights to his own music. Thats the predatory behavior I speak of. The record companies are not usually the creators, the artist is.
Miss him. Beautiful voice. Gone too soon. RIP George.
One of the absolute heavyweights of the pop stratosphere & yet another top English songsmith to the very core.
He was just so beautiful and I think people were just jealous of him because they couldn’t be him ❤❤❤❤
He was a very handsome man
Yea, I guess you're right. So many people are jealous and just try something to drag down someone they are jealous of... Sad thing
George Michael wrote , produced and sang lead on all of his songs. His voice was powerful and very soulful. He admired the voices of people of color and their Gospel style. I was in my early 20's when I first heard of WHAM and immediately loved their music. There remains no male vocalist that had his range or style. The day he passed a little of myself died as well. I saw him once and he was very kind. George Michael will never be forgotten. His memory and music will live forever.
He loved arita Franklin
Beautiful man and too honest for this world. Much respect for his integrity, music, beautiful voice, and charitable works. He has touched many lives. ❤️🎶❤️
Never be another one, bless you for your brilliance and so many memories ❤❤❤
He was always polite even when annoyed! I love his music ❤️ Rest in peace George
George did so much for music and culture. It’s such a tragic loss that he is no longer here. I loved and grew up with his music throughout the 80’s and going forward. It’s hard to remember that he’s no longer here and that so many great people from that time are gone as well. I miss those wonderful people, may they rest in peace. 🥲🕊️
Listen to George's music back in the 80s and still doing it today. What a blessed soul . He was sent to this planet to bless us with his beautiful voice. Who are we to judge his personal life. May his soul continue to rest in peace 😊
❤❤❤
Totally agree 🙌🙌

So sadly missed😢❤
George was an amazing artist. He was gorgeous. He was so uplifting. His voice was golden. Thank you George. You really, really stand out in the most wonderful way. Thank goodness we can still listen to your beautiful music! ❤
im 52 and liked some of his songs but this is literally first time i hear him speaking and boy i love how he stands his ground during that interview until min 33
I'm the same age as you, with the same vague interest in George and oh man the way he tears strips off that reporter is equal parts admirable and frustrating. Her questions were just sleazy tabloid baiting. I really respected the way he held his ground, too
I was fortunate enough to have been born in 1968 which meant my whole teenage existence was the '80's and I grew up with everything that period entailed. I miss it more than anything.
Same!!!
Born in 73, just not the same now is it?!
I was born in ‘68 too.😊
1967 here. I liked the beginning of the 80s up until '83. After that I really, _really_ disliked it. At least the mainstream music and films. Too corporate and digitally clean for me. GM's music wasn't my taste at all but I thought he was very talented and a nice guy.
Id go back to the 80s and ,90s in a minute. Such great times
How sad, what a great voice and songwriter!!
George Michael's lyrics and voice are unmatched. A priceless treasure gifted to all of us!
Jesus to a child is the most beautiful song George EVER wrote. To this day nothing has been more reflective and emotionally driven than that one. It STILL makes me cry.
And my second is cowboys and angels. Just wow!!!!🎉❤
I love the song Father Figure & Careless Whisper. Those 2 songs I can name in 2 notes when I hear them ❤❤
I am 65 and i never had interest in his personal relationships as much as his creativity humanitarian, music and gracious charities.I loved his music and always hated the persecution people projected in judgement.I cried when he died ..he was a great love in hearts. Today most artists are boring and lack creativity ,so many great artists from our time have passed but leaving their art to enjoy.
Beautifully stated ❣️🫂❣️
The older I get the more I love this guy. We miss you man.
Good man and good music. He gave freely to charity and was very philanthropic.
The world can be grateful to this amazingly beautiful and kind person who gifted this terrible world with his wonderful music and voice!

He was so incredibly handsome, charismatic and charming. I had a huge crush on him as a preteen, in the 80’s.
I still miss him. Yes, I can still listen to all his music whenever I like but that feeling that he is no longer around always weighs heavy on me.
George Michael was so talented, his voice was almost perfect, and his song writing skills sublime. I used to play them over and over. Peace!
That was brilliant that someone wrote Wham on the place of impact on the Snappy Snaps shop😂
British humour at its finest. It brought a smile to my face.
Nothing Mad or Bad about George, I have nothing but gratitude for the amazing songwriter , musician and incredibly talented work, wow what a great singer and all round decent person he was. Nice video thanks for posting ❤
George Michael was one of the greatest artist ever. Such an amazing voice, writer and producer. Imagine going from Wham to the album Older which is in my view one of the best albums ever. His sex life should never have been made anyones business, and George unfortunately spend to much of his life trying to explain himselves, what the press and people should have been told was to fuck off, listen to the music or not, but some just get obsessed with the drama. Gone way to soon, thats for sure.
Please keep your opinion to yourself because If you think Wham made one of the greatest album ever then you know nothing about music. Wham was weak, anemic and musically bankrupt . 80s trash
@edward - showing your ignorance. You obviously didn’t understand the comment. He said going from Wham to his album Older which was a solo album and a masterpiece in my opinion. You obviously don’t know his music yet you think you can judge him on it and tell others to keep their opinions to themselves. Listen to your own advice!
George was so much more than the Wham music. You clearly have no idea.
I been a fan of him since I was 13 years old he had such of beautiful soul
We are missing what heaven has gained ❤ a beautiful angel ❤ thank you for the music and for you George 🙏
Born in 1959. Loved the 80's. What a great time. Then came the big disease with a little name. But still...80's rocked. Loved my big hair.
Flu?
He donated all his royalties from Last Christmas to help Ethiopians - George Michael what a beautiful human being
And he never bragged about it. He did immense work 4 charity❤
Wonderful writer and performer. He did so much good for others during his life. Very few stars can hold a candle to him. It’s with great sadness that he died alone but he will still be remembered for his great music.
A wonderful musician, songwriter and performer. His music lives on.
Never heard a bad word, from anyone, about George.
I knew him personally and can say I never disliked anyone more. He was a narcissistic bully. One of his favourite pastimes was outwardly shaming women. He did it because he could, because he was a star. He'd make a nasty comment about someone, then look to his friends to share the laugh. George Michael could be extremely vicious and hateful. Andrew, on the other hand, was a gentleman. Kind, generous and sweet, Andrew was forever trying to be his best self.

What you are telling me is truly shocking and totally at variance to the received wisdom.
I guess that every human must have a dark side ?
Maybe you should write a book ?
He was a rotter
@@jamesdean1143 I first met George Michael at a party. Delighted to see a long missed old friend (also named George) I laughed and waved with happiness calling "George! George!" out to him. Initally I didn't see GM, who thought I was some sort of silly Wham fan girl and sneering, mimicked my 'George George' in a loud high pitched childish voice, getting all his hangers on to laugh at me. My friend George came to hug me and said loudly "Ignore him (GM) he thinks he's special." When GM heard this and realised I was referring to a different George, he turned red with embarrassment. He automatically hated me on sight. Because we moved in the same circles, I saw GM frequently and he was always nastily cruel to me. It was childish. His sister was always lovely, as was his close friend (and pretend girlfriend) Pat. Shirley of Wham was nice but aloof with shyness, and Pepsi of Wham was genuinely the sweetest person I'd ever met.
Sounds like he let getting famous go to his head. His ego took over
I honestly thought he was straight until he admitted it. R.I.P he was gorgeous I don’t care if he was gay.
He was born straight... the music industry changed him
He's evil little ass
@@richyalexander9206changed him ? Seriously? He was born gay no matter how straight you would like to straighten him!
I did too! Huge crash an like you his sexuality is totally his business! He remained handsome in my eyes
Actually George didn’t think he was born gay. He said in interviews that he felt environment had a lot to do with it in his case.
Don’t forget George led a bisexual life for several years. He had sexual relationships with women and some with men. He said he thought he was in love a couple of times with both women and men, but that it was only when he met Anselmo he found real love.
He stated he thought sexuality is a spectrum and each of us sits somewhere along it. Although he found women attractive he felt he didn’t connect emotionally like he did with men. That’s why ultimately he accepted he was gay rather than bisexual. Like he said, “it’s not who you can get it up for, it’s who you fall in love with “.
Beautiful man, beautiful voice, beautiful music, he had me with wake me up b4 you go go. I was in love the 1st time I laid eyes on him. Rip George, we love you, you'll never be forgotten.
I love his music & thought 💭 the media really showed the absolute worst of him.
I’m 59 and remember his career via his music, the media when the internet and social media hadn’t even been ‘invented’
Last Christmas was just Christmas. Hearing it in shops was just part of the 80’s
He came into the 🌏with nothing and he went to heaven with nothing

I can’t go a Christmas without listening to it. It isn’t Christmas, without it. I am 50, and still remember those times as though they were yesterday.

I remember this gorgeous, handsome man, George Michael & WHAM, and this is a very highly excellent video interview / report, rather a documentary. ❤❤ I adore any artist that gets on a stage and sings their lungs out to an audience that buys their albums & it is pitiful shame on reporters that bend over backward to disgrace their talents, skills and ambitions: because we all know, they have NO kind of thoughtfulness, grace, nor dignity to hold a candle to these superstars. Thank you for sharing.
Or talent...
Him implying that women put themselves in danger by going clubbing, is kinda what's wrong with our society. He chose to have sex with strangers in public places, some women don't and still have to go through it. The trauma in that case. I am a huge fan and listen to his songs daily, but that shocked me.
Such a great singer! Definitely miss ❤❤❤

I’m not gay but careless whisper is genius
I lived in the USA my sister and I loved and adored George Michael. We bought his 45’s and cassette tapes of all of his music. I remember hearing that he preferred men but I thought it was a rumor made up by boys at school because they were jealous of him. There were some wild rumors about Richard Gere too 😂 😂. We didn’t care that he was gay. We loved Boy George too (especially my sister) and we knew he was gay. I’m pretty sure none of the young people cared. I think the record label owners and older people had a problem with it but no one I knew cared. It’s so sad that he died alone on Christmas Eve.
We lost our cousin and his partner to the aids epidemic in the early 90’s. I think it touched everyone 😢
