2021 Tucson uses 10mm bolts on the cover. 17mm plug is correct.
Trying to remove the factory oil filter taught me a lot about Koreans. They designed it to be covered by dumb cowling, and positioned so no filter wrench can reach it easily. They intentionally make the oil change practically impossible without a hoist, so people have to bring the cars to a Kia/Hyundai dealer and pay $100 for a $40 oil change. Get 'em, Un!

I don’t know. My Ram 1500 has its oil filter blocked by multiple things. It has even electrical connection right below it. I guess it’s about Americans?

Maybe Hyundai changed the bolts for the cover but mine were 10 mil. I don't trust the techs at the Hyundai dealerships. First one didn't tighten the drain plug. Second one had a tech cut up my console probably out of boredom while my vehicle was being tested for a window leak. They didn't find one but you can hear it dripping inside the doors after it rains. Not exactly happy with my Hyundai Tucson but oh well.

However I have below 3 notes (hoping you will accept them):
-You should fill the new filter with oil before Installation.
-Changing 17 ml screw washer.
-Audio volume is too low.
No reason to fill the new filter with oil. The engine picks the oil up from the oil pan
No. The filter DOES NOT need to be filled with oil before installation. Feel free to do so however, if u like wasting time and/or making a mess for no reason.
My question is after you remove the old filter do we need to add some oil to the new fillter

My lady has a 2021 Tuscan. She purchased it new, in the dealership told her she's not due for her first oil change until 30,000 miles. Can you tell me if that's correct? I've never heard of such a thing.
yea don't due that , those kia/hyundai engines are getting blown by 20 000 miles(never done oil change ) I just checked 2021 hyundai Tucson 2.0L oil changes with oil filter are due every 7500( even that is too much for me) I would due every 5000 miles with full synthetic( by doing this car will last forever )
