    Thanks Dom, brought a tear to my eyes as I remembered my late grandad, when he had dementia making all sorts from pegs helped him stay focused. Challenge: can you come up with something to make with all the springs!

    Ahhhh yes. Nostalgic for the Ladybird Book of Things to Make and Do… I made a wonky trivet for a teapot out of pegs. I think the snowflake is a better idea! Thanks Dom.

    Yeh, I was also going to challenge you with finding something to make out of all the springs! But seriously, the peg/snowflake can be used later on as one of those wooden placemats for preventing your hot pot from burning the kitchen or dining-room table! What are they called again?
