YES 0:35 why is this so hard to find on internet !? There’s also plenty other classics that are not on here like explosion sfx in Super Smash Bros 1 and other B movie sfx
No microphone can handle it 100% to this day. Same for gunshots. All recordings undergo extensive processing before you end up with something that is usable.

0:00 ,0:51 and 1:00 were used in Worms Armageddon, the first one in the game's intro, the second one when a bomb or missile explodes and the last one is used when a worm launches a missile from a bazooka
Very good job fellows throughout the 2nd grade AAA5 felicitous skills week of said surfside June!! Congratulations 8885%. Outstanding work dudes including Knight Rider.
at the 35 second mark i noticed a lot of the old tv, movies, and documentaries made fairly gtood use of this explosion sound effect back in the day. the question i got is: was this sound effect made in a studio by some means? or was this sound effect actually recorded out in the real world way back in day and eventally added to some sound effects library for eventual overall use when needed? i'm just curious and always have wondered.
That is the very reason I am here. I am trying to find the source of that particular explosion, actually at 0:34 which I have recognized for years in many movies and television shows. There are also four similar ones at 0:42, 2:00, 2:25, and 3:18. All five of those may even be the same explosion, some with added effects. They certainly sound like it. If you find out where this particular sound originally came from, please reply, and I will do the same.
Can someone help me? I cant find a particular fire sound, was used in Street Fighter Assassins Fist as the fireball ignites, i swear i heard in this channel before but cant find right now
0:34 classic sound
I believe the one at 1:00 was used for the BFG's explosion sound in Doom.
Also a couple of C&C Red Alert ones at 0:34 and 1:10
0:42
Most overused in movie, and videogame history
...and in the original Battlestar Galactica series :)
@@grarghov1 And also in The Powerpuff Girls the original series

I just love the distortion! It kind of makes the explosion/gunshot feel more powerful. Like it's so loud, the microphone can't even handle it.

@@Dr.W.Krueger Ok...?
Lots of battleships with the staggered firing.
YES! You're the go to guy on SFX. I'm re-editing Rocky IV and needed this for the exploding gloves🤘

1:53 Finally found that one that’s used a lot in Dexter’s Laboratory, Powerpuff Girls, and Samurai Jack.
As well as the James Bond movies.
Some of the explosions are Hanna Barbera related.

Like the Rambo movie
Is there any way to download these separately, like in a sound pack?
the one at 0:30 is the PERFECT one!
This one was used in the muppet movie (1979) but there was something different about it like it was changed 0:01 but what is this one called

I'm curious to know, where did you get the one at 0:10 from?
Where did you get the one at 1:16 from?
hoffy1138 Most of these are from the universal sound effects library but some have been ripped from TV and Movies
The one I'm talking about is used by Ben Burtt a lot.
hoffy1138 I know I have them too. He more likely went back to basics and expanded on them early on in the first star wars
I also noticed a Star wars explosion sound effect sounded very similar to one in one of my videos. :)
hoffy1138 I'm currently compiling some more. When I have them I'll upload.
Check out ' Universal metal bending. that's a classic sound used in all the Bond movies . :)
