The Potensic Atom could be a safe bet, you could also look into the Mini 2 if you can get your hands on one and use a third party app like Litchi to unlock follow me mode. I have some drone deals here: linktr.ee/danstubetv

The Atom - it has waypoints and follow me mode. Everything else is similar between the two drones.

I cannot use a drone without tracking. Object lock, drag a circle and do paralax moves. Anything else is old tech. Old shots. Same old drone footage. Ai features change the game
Yes 🙌 but also you can replicate most of those moves manually.
My Atom drone, on it's first programed flight to go staight ahead, flew 80 feet and then turned 90 degrees and crashed into a tree. One arm broke. I can't get fixed by Potensic. Three months old. No more Protensic.. I'm out $400. I talked to Potenic support for 3 months. Buyer beware !!

A DJI Mini with Maven, Dronelink or Litchi is a much better drone for hikers and certainly bikers. Because then you will have follow-me as well instead of only the often unreliable and unpredictable optical active-track. The Potensic app to my knowledge doesn't even have the very important homepoint-update option. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
You are correct, follow me is more reliable. I don’t know about the homepoint, I thought that it did update in realtime.
@@DansTubeTV Definitely something you should test. My cheap L109 Pro auto-updates homepoint in follow-me mode. But that is GPS. Don't ask me if that is the software in the drone, or the app, or both. I really don't know. I wish I could program to correct what the Chinese did wrong!
And I'm not against optical tracking. But it is not a replacement for follow-me. A good drone should have both.
