It was a pleasure showing you guys around the boost factory 👌
legends
I’m in the market for a super charger for my gmc truck with a 6.2 L86 I’ll definitely be checking your kits out
Impressive workshop 👍🏼
Amazing level of detail. Thanks Harrop and Skid Factory for the tour
Fantastic Company! Legendary! 💯
Nice video guys, great Aussie company to work with :)
As a lad from the States, I am always impressed at the level of dedication the Aussies have to their craft. Giving Al and Woody the time to come into the shop and highlight the level of expertise and engineering that is local to their country is always impressive. Cheers to the Harrop Engineering lads for giving an insight into their factory!
as a german lad living in the US, i am always impressed with the dedication to trades and engineering and manufacturing seen in the UK, Germany, and apparently also in Australia.
I am amazed by all the hotrodders everywhere. Regardless of the country, they are dedicated to improving their rides often in direct opposition by their government regulators. We are lucky here in the States so far at our ability to modify our cars in most cases to what we want - even building our own designs with parts from around the world.
Loved the Aussie approach to building high quality. Get it done without hype. Awesome facility Harrop.
Who does the hype……I can’t imagine.

@@banjopete yeeeehaaaw....
Loved it. Heath delivered a comprehensive explanation of the whole operation, managing to be clear, precise, enthusiastic and all over it, without being all shiny and corporate. Looks like such an awesome place to work and clearly the stuff they make is outstanding. Thanks for sharing.
That place looks amazing! I have been in some impressive manufacturing facilities (including Holley) & this is truly a cut above.
Excellent video fellas and an amazing way to showcase the production process. Goes to show exactly what we've been preaching for years, we have some of the best manufacturers and parts in the world!
Built right here on Aussie soil 💪🏻💪🏻🇦🇺
Harrop has come a long way since Ron run his “Howler” and made a big mark. Thanks for sharing Al and Woody.
Oooo nooooooo that sound at the end credits
Agreed.... didn't sound like fun
Was just gonna comment 😬
Harrop makes some top notch goodies. They even make a supercharger upgrade kit for my old Mini. It’s on my list of upgrades to buy someday!
Another one of the many reasons that I love Australians. An example of an an outfit who has their act together. Beautiful job guys!
Fantastic to see that we still have high quality automotive manufacturing happening in Australia after the death of our local automotive industry. Seeing facilities like this is the one aspect that I miss from being in the CAD/CAM industry for 20 years up until 2016. Always loved seeing the amazing products that were designed and manufactured in our products. Great episode and looking forward to seeing the dyno results next week.
All I can say is, WOW!
That's the kind of place us small time metal carvers can only dream of working in. Such amazing machinery and capabilities, organization and quality control. Simply amazing.
i am here!
His sloppiness graces us with his presence
Welcome.
Amazing Episode and an impressive place!
To think you now 3D scan a block, CAD design it, and mill out the bits all without touching a tape measure or tool is awesome.
You absolutely still need measuring tools. that scanner wont give accurate sizing to manufacture something
They did measure with the ruby tip.
The audio of the dyno run at the end of the video is interesting, can’t wait for the next video to see if it held together
sounded parts on floory 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
@@richmanricho It seemed to stop whinning very quickly, that's a lot of enertia to slow down...
'Interesting' isn't usually the word I'd use to describe that kind of audio... 😓
@@craigdavies8099 agreeded hope its a trick
hopefully it just kicked the belt off 🤞
The quality of those 3D scans is amazing! Awesome work they’re doing there.
Great factory tour Heath, thanks for letting Al and Woody video it.
Wow Harrops... The Skid Factory is stepping up their game. Top shelf.
Excellent profile of a very cool company. Glad you could be a part of it.
I remember the awkward silence with the cam and then everybody put their thinking head on and just got to work and saw the problem.
Would love to see your big block in US maybe catch up with Finnegan team.
Your videos just keep getting better and better and better I remember the first ones. I think the car community as a whole loves the kind of stuff that you do.
What a dream place to work. Harrop is a true Australia icon. Even as a kid I remember the blowers they made for the 304 V8s. Thanks for sharing
That engineering facility is jaw dropping amazing...
Oh man, I work in a little CNC job shop in Queensland so its so cool to see some quality Australian manufacturing at this scale, excellent workshop and Al just taking it all in.
What a fantastic video! Thanks Harrop for taking Al and Woody through your wonderful facility.
So excited for this, what a stunning facility and product
Melbourne based engineer here, Harrop are fantastic. Really nice to have a little tour around inside such a tidy operation. 10/10. Must be awesome to be involved with the development and come home with a shiny new piece of top shelf engineering. Sounds sweet too. 👍
Incredible operation! Props to Harrop!
Epic video. The Harrop setup and dedication to craft is reminiscent of the factory tour I was able to go to at ARB. Aussie engineering ftw.
Beautiful facility , thanks for the tour
So good lads..... mad respect for Harrop
Love these factory tours!
That was a great tour of the Harrop facility. Excellent to see high quality engineering and manufacturing in Australia!
good to see valued technicians in engineering action and the passion in their work.. great vid 🤙🤙
Fantastic video! Always nice to see Al absorbing information from professionals from different fields. That is how you get smarter.

Always thrilling to see a company dedicated to our passion for car modifications.

Awesome video about an awesome world class leading company. A big thank you to all involved.
I’m very excited for this one, I’m America we can get Whipple blowers for big block Chevy motors, which is what I am currently looking at for my 540, but this would be a great alternative
*Al's Christmas's all come at once!* ✨🕺✨
Great walk through and Heath seems so knowledgeable about his product and how its all put together
What a great colab. Nice work guys. Had proper shivers when that charger started to whine at the end there!
Really fantastic video. Enjoyed it a lot!
Excellent and informative video!
Very educational vid thanks guys.
What an awesome look at some really cool tech and products. Looking at inverted super chargers was a real eye opener to how they work.
Great episode.
Wow, amazing quality and craftsmanship. Those brakes are stunning! 8:32
awesome behind the curtains stuff, thank you very much!
Wow! That was cool!!
Another great video of a amazing Melbourne company producing world class equipment for the automotive industry. Thanks Al and Woody
What an informative video thank you very much folks🤙
Amazing facility! This thing is going to sound mental !
Awesome edit woody!
Good to see the Aussie aftermarket industry getting some air time
I really enjoyed that video at Harrop. What a professional presentation Allan. This is a serious channel. Hats off to you good sir.
Great episode!
Awesome!! 🍻
Fantastic video from skid factory, thanks to HARROP for inviting you to the engineering factory 😀✅
Amazing video guys, I found this very interesting.
Keep up the good work.
Al, I hope you enjoyed our beautiful warm weather here in Melbourne the past few weeks.
As for Harrop Engineering.....has always been world class.
What a fabulous video. I love seeing an Aussie company manufacturing world class performance parts. Great to see the Managing Director is passionate about making top shelf, cool automotive parts too. Brilliant!!!
Lots of good stuff properly made in Australia. Makes me very proud.
So good to see an Aussie company that is world beating :)
Good to see a guided tour for a company not done by a salesperson, that guy knew his stuff
Excellent stuff.
I'm impressed continually with the products coming out of Australia. The best big block Chevy, Cleveland, and other heads for the money. CID BBC heads bring LS style symmetrical ports to the big block. That's key to real power like a built LS but bigger.
Now Harrops doing superchargers for, well, anything you want! Unbelievable!
Sickk! Very interesting episode.
Enjoyed the Harrop tour 👍
A very good episode. 👍🏻
top job guys great vid.
Great episode. Quality product the harrop gear
MAAD Great Australian company. Love seeing Australian company’s going up and beyond.
Hecktic video, cheers.
How good is that!!!
Aussies doing what Aussies do best, design and manufacture of high quality gear. We don't make cheap junk here, we make stuff that just works.
This is amazing.
I like the inverted charger design. Great engineering company.
Thanks guys love youre channel, Queenslander
Groundbreaking and exciting stuff for everyone 😝😎
Great Vid, and well explained 👍😎
Very slick production in this one Woody.
Setting new highs in engine Horsepower, way to go Alan and Harrop!
FKYEAH. I clicked so hard on this nearly broke my mouse. Been looking forward to this for weeks.
Welcome to the future. Mind Blown...
We went through this loop a few years back aswell with a small block chev and ended up having a custom manifold made to suit a 3 litre Whipple. I also thought it was strange that there wasn't an option for modern blowers on old engines. Great video. Thoroughly enjoy the more technical videos
Aussie engineering, jobs, bravo
Gotta love a Supercharger Whine!!!
Really excited for the kit the just released for RWD K series swaps!
Nice behind the scenes video 👍
very nice choice
Serious understatement, quality parts…..wow.
good vid fellas
That snout is very slick
Als a legend 👌
