There should be a movie made about this. MM was totally protective of those she admired and loved, and Ella saw this fact, and they both had a very special place in their hearts for each other until death parted them. May they both rest in peace. Each matters so much during their lifetimes. Icons and legends, both.
It would be nice to see this special relationship mentioned more in the public arena, especially when most countries are having racial turmoil and everyone seems to be on a bandwagon of hate. I don't see colour only the content of a persons character.

I look at it and wonder if he greeted her with a whistle. I think of how she and the other people around would have been tickled by this. She was a real person who lived to stand up for others. Then there was this other kid. Wow. Things that I’ve read online have lead me to believe that the woman in that story has been haunted her whole life by what happened to that little boy.
