Itâs too hot to listen to Jordan
Itâs his tone as well - laboured, condescending, slurring inflection of words as if saying something so highly intelligent beyond anyoneâs grasp so simplifying and over explaining it. All while talking nonsense lol

Never been described so accurately
Leave him alone, you clowns. I like his intelligent feedback. it's not his fault you're thick.
@@Khumalo879this might be the funniest comment Iâve ever seen on this podcast đđđđ

Jordan; âPep wouldnât do better with England than Southgateâ. Iâve heard it all now đđđđđ
It is circa 29 mins in and Lee is talking. Wife comes in who does not watch the pod and says "Is that Lee?" I am shocked she knows. I ask how? She replies "Always had a soft spot for skinny bald men with bad grammar". I was on the floor Lol. đ€Ł Go Lee. Fantastic you are picking up new fans just by talking Arsenal. Love the pod and respect to all you guys for making a "look forward too" pod moment every week.
The banter between the four of you is too good đ COYG
James: I was watching Switzerland really closely in that one game
Also James: Can't remember who they were playing against
When Turkish goes on one of his rants, James's giggle does me every time!!
I love this podcast, ive been going through a bit of a tough time with family issues, but this has been one of the things i can really enjoy, so thank all four of you

Online discourse changed significantly for the worse when Facebook and Twitter added likes, sharing, and retweet.
These features made content more public for everyone, with personal opinions and preferences now shared not only with close friends but also with total strangers. Even more significantly, those strangers could respond with disapproval and scorn on a performative stage. This in turn led to an uptick in the frequency and volume of attacks on social media.
Good timing guys. Just perfect to get me through the rest of work đ
49mins in⊠Jordan starting to do his online shopping. đđđ
Jordan had some of the worst takes of all time in this episode. Diabolical
What takes of his were diabolical??? Other than his liking of Southgate, which he admitted was purely down to meeting him and seeing first hand that he was a nice guy, everything else he said, especially in the first half an hour about England, was SPOT ON! đ
This guys always like that though
â@AnthonyScott5425 saying foreign players are just better then english ones is pretty inaccurate and disrespectful for one
@@mikesmith8729You're talking about his comments from 24:53 I just played it back. That's not exactly what he said. Funny enough what he actually said is the same thing that has often been spoken about, regarding England players, for YEARS. Whilst we've had some fantastic players, past and present, we're often left scratching our heads as to why they never seem to be able to transfer their club form over to the national team. As a result of that it has long since been theorised that given most of our club sides have world class foreign players in them, often making up the spines of our top teams, all while being coached/managed by foreign managers, maybe that is why their performances are in complete contrast to how they then perform when playing for England. It also boils down to the fact that maybe, just maybe, we overrate a lot/most of our players too.
On a technical level, and in terms of being more cultured on the ball, most know that the Spanish, French, Italian, German, Brazil, Argentinian, and Portuguese players have LONG been considered better technicians on the ball, whilst English players are mostly known for having more pace and power. Therefore, going back to what Jordan (and MANY others have) said when looking at our lads at club level, and playing for the likes of Klopp, Pep, Wenger, Mourinho, and Ancelotti, we can often distort how good they truly are when then comparing them directly against how they play for England.
At club level, and when playing with the array of foreign talents that they play with, they're exposed to a football style and culture that is VERY different to our own (at international level) which in turn does enhance our players (at club level) as the different styles can compliment each other and be molded, especially as club coaches/managers have MUCH longer periods with the players to get across their philosophies and tactics in training, as opposed to the limited time coaches have with players at international level. But our players aren't able to replicate those same practices or approach, individually or as a team, when making the transition from club to country. Ultimately it's not in their DNA.
Apologies for the essay. Hopefully all of that makes sense though?
GOOD TO SEE TURKISH, JORDAN , LEE AND JAMES FROM CZECH REPUBLIC
Southgate is too safe. The man wears a hi-vis jacket when he goes up into his loft to get the Christmas decorations.
I donât get why people think the players are robots . Man dem just finished the season last month and they are expected to drop 10/10?
Every other country in the Euros play with so much chemistry compared to England. Like they throw their club rivalries out and play as fellow countrymen. Yet this England side looks like a team of individuals, playing safe and not taking any risks. IMO I think England has had a systematic issue for a while and Southgate is just out of his depth with managing/tactics.
It's 100% down to Southgate. He coaches sh*t football. These players don't chose to park the bus the moment they go 1-0 up.
Do they?? Spain has been the only team that have looked decent. Donât get me wrong England have been awful but most of the âbigâ nations have been poor and lacked fluency
@@lewis2259 I don't see other teams making misplaced passes, long balls off the pitch, losing possession etc?
Every country is tribal. England think they are special. In holland as soon as an ajax fan can dog a psv player they will do it as vice versa. I am sure its so for every other country.
the errors we are making are basic ones. yes other teams don't look amazing either, but they are getting the simple things right.
This was probably a huge reason Ben white didnât want to go. The last thing I want is Arsenal players getting slated in the media before the season starts
Jordan is bordering on ty levels of delusional with his defence of Southgate, you saying that foden Saka rice Trent kane Bellingham all play with good players around them at their club but these guys are all playing together nowđ thereâs enough quality in that team to play better than how they play and unfortunately you have to put that on the manager. I think Southgate needs a high energy pressing foward instead of Kane and this team can click just like that. Watkins in for Kane and they become a diffferent team
I think he was talking about the intelligence or game management of the players they play with. That he goes on to say he thinks england lacks. You can disagree but don't be rude if you miss the entire point being made. Emoji emoji
England havenât got anyone who can control the tempo in midfield. I donât think they have any ever produced anyone as such.
I could but Southgate won't pick me
âPay rise comingâđđđ
Anyone speaking
Jordon: let me just type as loud as I can
đđđ
Ben White chillin
I get Jordan's point, when you look at most countries they have a national style of play, they may have decisive players but it's part of a national style of play. With England, the style of play is abandoned for player name value. Today it's Bellingham, Kane Saka, and Foden. In my younger years, it was Gerrard, Lamps, and Rooney. It's as if the name on the shirt is more important than an English way of playing. However, Southgate tends to give the impression that he reacts instead of dictating and whenever team form dips, it makes him look like he doesn't know what he is doing.
not watch you guys since our last game but seems thereâs fuck all good to watch during the off season I thought Iâd tune in. Good to see you all again, bring on the Arsenal

I typed a whole ESSAY while watching and JORDAN just went and hit the nail on the head.. JORDAN is spot on..!
Traffic sounded like a Toilet James...đđ€Łđđ€Ł anyway back on topic.. The issue with England is deep and its not just the team its England as a nation, and the press play a huge part in that because they hype up these players when they've barely kicked a ball or won anything significant.. and the Fans are just as bad, because they do it throughout the season.. England have the biggest league in the world paying the highest wages, ridiculous wages, so these players deserve the critic they get, and look how they whinge when that happens..
Now to Southgate.. how is he different from any managers before him.. they've all failed..Venerbles,Hoddle, Keegan,Ericksson, Robson, even Capello, yeah Capello! Allardyce! ok that last one was for effect, but you get my drift.. They all have failed..! all of them..! so is it just down to the managers..Southgate got them to a final that no other managers have done since 66 so is it just down to Southgate..
If it's not Jordan leaving before the stream ends, he's typing about leaving while the stream ends. đ
Fun fact havertz is younger then the academy prospect with potential named eddie
My God are England poor, just shows how lucky we are by having Arteta. cant wait till the season starts, proper football.
Just shows how lucky we are by having Arteta, cant wait till the season starts to see him win nothing again for the 5th year running ...
If Zirkzee is worth the 100m being reported, Nketiah should be worth at least 60
Zirkzee can do tricks and skill moves. He is tiki taka capable. He has silky and tekky touches and close control. He can drop deep playing teamwork short combination passes, through passes, create passing options, create overloads, create space and chances for his teammates. He can swap positions with wingers and midfielders, allowing more tactical flexibility.
Eddie has zero skills and zero technicality.
We would be Lucky to get 30 - 35M for Eddie.đ
What have you been reading...why would he be a ÂŁ100M striker when his release clause is less than âŹ35M? đ
With that logic if Sancho is worth a touted 30m then Nketia is worth 10m. In the end it depends on his importance to the club. Eddie didnât get a lot of game time and Arsenal are obviously looking to move him on. That lowers value.
If you do genuinely want to sell him you are not getting close to 50 million. If you think he is that good then maybe you should keep him and give him consistent game time?
Cole Palmer for 40m or Eddie Nketiah for 60m?
That's a toughie mate. Can i at least sleep on it?
25:09 Jordan, English players aren't playing well because they play with foreigners, they're playing well because they're paired with the appropriate players. Rice plays with a real 6.
Nketiya is a Epl experienced young strong fit english striker with a hattrick in his name, he is worth at least 30-35 mil easy!
Easy, I don't get why Eddie so hated, season before last Jesus injured, Eddie stepped up with regular 90 mins games
Lee is absolutely right if your not performing for your national team, tribalism come in to play. "He doesn't play like that for etc...

18:46 James stealing Lee's catchphrase!
Disagree the tournament has been great so far...just because the smaller nations team has improve doesn't make the quality is shit....I guess you would rather a predictable tournament...Tournament's favorite nation has been catch up by other nations
The opposite of a bell end is a quiet start.
I agree with Turkish, I think Eddie is championship level maybe even lower than that
Itâs like Jordan lost the bet and had to defend Southgate! Man he was floundering đ
People keep saying Eddie would start for palace and Fulham but he wouldnât. Mateta got 16 goals and 5 assists last season and looked unreal when Glasner came in and Muniz scored 9 and got 1 assist last season in his first season in England, Nketiah doesnât start for these teams
Saka has played LB beforr and he CAN play there, but the fact is he hasn't in maybe 3 years? He will not become the LB he was before in time for England to do a deep run.
Jordan doing his other job while engaging in the conversation at hand will never shock me. đ€Łđ€Ł
And how do I know that he is working? you can hear him typing on his laptop.
I think it's been a good watch has the Euros, not every game has been a 10/10 for sure but it's been entertaining.. Turkey v Georgia & Austria v Netherlands were outstanding games. Southgate is the problem for England 100% but I can see us making the final, Guehi & Stones been our best players. Nketiah ÂŁ50m that's funny I'll take him back at Leeds for ÂŁ8m ha. Cracking pod đ
That take from Jordan about England wouldn't be better with Pep is actually worse than Havertz/Kaka comparisons. Even your boy Southgate would say that your are waffling.
Jordon remember the system that Southgate employs does not allow the players to be at their best, look at what happens to Rice in the Denmark game, he is doing two man's job and that y he looks so bad, the system is wrong and Southgate doesn't know how to correct it, unlike my manager Arteta or Pep or Klopp, they know what to do, they are students of the game
How many national sides have u managed to a Euro final?
the England players are not the problem.. The manager sucks, though!1 should be replaced... he is clueless that makes the games so boring..

42:49 Thank you Jordan for calling out Lee regarding the supposed agenda against Arsenal, it's so tedious fans of almost every club constantly making out the whole world's against them (same goes for refereeing decisions, the media etc etc)
1:04 whose working Deliveroo ? đ
Donât usually rate Jordan but he made some good points about England teams being strategically naive. Time after time after time they go a goal up and fall apart
Most other teams have a fluidity and team about them, like theyre on the same page, but england? Like 11 seperate players whove never played with eachother
Is it possible for a coach to manage a club team and an national team at the safe time?
France, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Portugal are struggling, but only Southgate is the worst đđđ

10 goals in 2 seasons...what a player!
@@RichardStone-xk2px I agree with your sentiment for the most part.
I'm just saying if I'm selling him, I'd point out that he is only behind Trossard, Saka, and Havertz for goals per 90.

Clearly you're the 1%...
No.
@@RichardStone-xk2px 99% of Arsenal fans would want the club to make good money for Eddie including myself
Jordan has used every single excuse in the book for Southgate. Even cited culture đ
Southgate made a mistake of taking players he's not used to like Palmer, Eze. They are amazing players but there was no time to blend them together. No chemistry yet. If he had plans to take them, he should have given them their debut a year ago. Even new players take some time to blend in any team. Rashford and grealish should have been here, Madison too. Now he's scared to put them in. Even Jordan Henderson would have helped just like Erikson, Kante and Modric are helping their respective teams. Tournament isn't the time for experiments.
At this point I get it if Jordan preferred Netflix over England.
Players legs are fried.
Does Jordan use a typewriter? Bloody hell thatâs loud
I canât think of many premier league players that have done well. Do you think itâs something to do with amount and f fixtures.
james had two coffees before this
Noticed Jordan didnât have a drink during this episode and his energy was sky high.. please letâs make sure his carer brings his medication before the pods
Foden and Bellingham are both flanked by elite wingers for their clubs. Southgate needs to make the boldest decision of his career and drop one of them (or move Bellingham into midfield which I donât think he wants to do.)
We haven't been bad sellers just because we couldn't get high prices but because we don't know when to sell. Amn had a 20m bid rejected then went for free as an example
Time to get rid of Eddie, ESR, reiss, lokonga, patino, zinni is now
Hereâs a suggestion, how about you just play players in their natural position ?

Jordan spot on in his comments about England and Southgate.
Jordan getting paid by southgate to watch his highlights and big him up, unbelievable đđ
James you werenât impressed by cole palmer. Wow. Youâd be one of the only ones based on the coverage Iâm watching and more important my opinion watching him.
The reason jordan likes Southgate is because his cluelesness and arrogance is joint with him
In the same point saying in man city and Liverpool etc they know how to run a game yet but players who play in thebdame teams can't do it for England . It's from the manager! Can't believe I'm agreeing with James đ
So essentially Jordan's argument proves the point that Southgate is the problem. đ
Southgate route to the final again is piss easy if he doesnât do it sack him. I donât get how difficult it is just to play players in their natural position. Feel like Iâm going insane the fact England manager canât even do this basic task ffs
give pep 30 minutes with that England team he'd do better than Southgate
England need to try play back 3 formation đ
People online do like to bring up Saka more than some of the other players because they know Arsenal fans are some of the most emotional and reactive and it will get them likes and views. You scroll through a comment section and Sakaâs name comes up the most. Has he been the worst? I donât think so. But do these comments have the most engagement? Absolutely.
