Why is license important? you get screwed on price just cos some rich company wants a slice of your toy car😅 its not a full size copy 😂

I try and stay away from the unlicensed brands because I think the brands deserve their cut of the money of their properties. I do however own several. I just got an awesome MK7 Golf from the brand Zoom. The dead giveaway for me that they’re unlicensed is they don’t say car make just model on the packaging.

Typically the argument is that you are taking money away from a company when you buy unlicensed stuff and not their stuff. This has been the 100 year argument for buying bootleg concerts vs buying official live releases by a band. While all trademarks are important none of these real car companies are making tiny scale cars you are foregoing buying for the cheaper unlicensed stuff. I also believe it helps further brand awareness. Just my opinion. Let me be clear though. I do not support buying illegal fakes being pushed/sold as the real deal. If you want to learn about this wild Chinese practice spend some time googling Chibson.

@WitchCityCollector then the manufacturers who secure the licenses need to make better product

More awesome Aliexpress cars. I went to their site after your last video and bought 5 JKM cars, they are very nice pieces for the price. Keep showing us these Chinese cars I think they’re great additions to my collection. I swear every time I watch one of your damn videos I get more broke! 😂 thanks a lot and keep these great videos coming, love your content 👍

I got Solo's Ferrari SF90. For relatively low price it's an amazing model.

Licensing is important to compensate and give acknowledgement to the designers, creators and manufacturers of these fine vehicles. If that's an absolute requirement for you, hold true to your values and don't support these unlicensed products.
However, if you hold a more pragmatic view like me and recognize the world would grind to a halt and the price point of products would where only the weamthy could afford, then these wonderful models are absolutely fine once they accurately represent the original item. I have no problem with it...and some of the better detailed and quality stuff outta China are pretty darn good.
I think the manufacturers are just price matching because these models surely don't costs anywhere near US$ 20 to manufacturer.
I'm familiar with Rhino Model, their products have usualñy been above average quality.

I just got the Ghost Player 911 from Cyberpunk 2077 and it looks to be the same casting as the non-cabriolet 911 from Rhino Model. I think you're probably right, they're definitely from the same companies and factories but released under different names.

I need the AMG 1 too. It's awesome. I know John from Lamley really cares about licensing, which is cool, but it's good to see another Lamley contributor showing these unlicensed cars. I buy too many of them, but I always buy licensed if the car I want is available from a licensed brand. Otherwise I'm not worried about it.

No issue at all with unlicensed models as long as they are accurate.
I have 3 Rhino Singers and their new Merc 560. All class!
Interestingly, the Hobby Fans Singer release is identical to the RM. Not sure of the story there, but I recommend checking out the HF Land Cruisers if you haven’t seen them yet

I got one of the Rhino Models Singer Porsche after I saw your intragram post and it doesn’t disappoint. The finish and details are really good especially the interior. I agree plaid seats look unique and very cool. Guess I’m ok with unlicensed diecast as long as quality is good.

I like the porsche best. It looks like it’s worth 20+ dollars with the removable engine cover but the AMG just looks like a mini GT for maybe 10 or 15. The screw pegs on the car bottom bother me.

I am finding that many of these brands have identical cars to one another and even identical cars to the larger more “legit” licensed brands. Plus I see a lot of collaboration between these off brands that you would believe are unrelated and may not be.

Very nice models. I wonder if the AMG engine cover is removable, kinda looked like it. Or it was just a separate piece detail. Doesn't bother me too much if they're unlicensed, but I only have one in my collection like that, its the Lexus LFA made bya Chinese company, no one except Matchbox makes the LFA,and theirs isnt that good, but that unlicensed one is really well detailed and looks just like the real car.

The engine cover on the AMG One is a separate piece in order to make the ducting more accurate. There is no separate engine inside the model.

does anyone really care about licensing?
i know i don`t care about making car companies richer
if anything, if it`s done well it`s actually free advertising
love the singer, get the blue one
