The fact that pretty much any premium Asian brand these days manage to produce better and cheaper products than almost anything designed in the West never ceases to amaze me. The good thing is that some US based companies have taken notice and are making changes for the better (like Greenlight, and to some extent, Hot wheels).

Not that mind blowing. China has been doing that with pretty much every basic consumer product for decades. Why do you think everything is made in china?

    • @hellisio
      @hellisio Před 15 dny

@@astronut71589 Obviously, but you are missing the point. Greenlight are made in China. M2 are made in China. Even RLC models are made in China. And yet, none of these products can compete with the chinese and asian makers.

Blows my mind that brands like JL or GL or HW cannot compete with this quality and price, more power to JKM!

also, they don't have to adhere to safety regulations. I'm tempted to test these for lead.

I’ve also purchased several of the JKM models from AliExpress, and I’ve been very impressed with the quality. I continue to order more. They have many models that you cannot get in the states.

I ordered the Military vehicle after watching the video and also a Lancer Evolution 5 in black. Very impressed as well. Ordered in the UK and the MK3 was only £7. Great videos

Gotta say, I'm tempted. They look good. That last one though, makes an impression. I'm pretty sure it's from the First Automobile Works (FAW), a Chinese State owned co. It is the Chinese Liberation Army's standardized military truck, comes in 4x4 as well as 6x6. The Bugatti is beauty. I car more about the look and quality of the piece than the license. To each their own I guess. Dig it! Good stuff.

Picked up the Evo I and evo III plus two of the Lancer EX2000's by them. I'll let you know what I think about them.
If they did a 5th generation galant (80's vintage) I would buy every variant they make.

I got a couple of JKM after your first video presenting them. Few more are on the way. Price wise those are great. And I love they made regular cars. Not only sport or racing ones. Even weathering with mud adds normality to some of them.

Looking at the Gladiator, the rearmost pillar on the roof has too much of a forward slant. Should be vertical and not have a forward lean.

I purchased the silver Grand Cherokee and was going to get the Gladiator also but I noticed the rear of the cab slants down and doesn't look right to me, so I passed on it. I too will probably purchase all colors of the Grand Cherokee. Nice video! Keep up the hard work.

Have a Auto World question for you. Why is the F8 Green Dodge Challenger hard to find on Ebay. I bought the case that had the F8 Green Challenger in it and lo and behold it was a Ultra Red,so now I am looking for that regular release for under $25 bucks. They made over 13k of them but seems hard to get on Ebay. Hopefully Auto World will make a Gladiator. They are already making the Wranglers. Would be nice to see Auto World make one.

    You’re a bad influence, I just bought a couple cars on AliExpress…. 😝

  • @joakimhjelm-svennesen8984

Damn they are detailed and for that price 7, 20, 12 USD they are pretty cheap. They appear to be just as high quality as MiniGT on camera with metal base and rubber tires.
I’m tempted to buy, I admit that. And maybe I will someday. But not so much a fan that it’s not licensed (unfair competition against those who do pay for using Ford, GM, Stellantis etc brand name and product), not to mention it’s from a Chinese website and JKM is a Chinese brand I guess. Here in Europe we not exactly fond of Chinese products and there’s a high customs/tax/VAT on Chinese products. So buying from AliExpress or any other Chinese website is pretty expensive. And as far as I know USA isn’t exactly is a fan of China as well, so what about customs? Don’t you have to pay some import customs/tax/VAT when they enter USA when you buy from AliExpress?

You're always into standard, OEM, showroom floor cars, which isn't really my thing. Out of all the cars you showed, I liked the military truck the most because it's fresh and unique and I've never seen that thing. I guess when it comes to seeing Chinese brands, I'd prefer them to be making Chinese vehicles as opposed to American (ie: Western) vehicles. That said, I love your channel, and I like that you're showing off unique manufactures, even if they're showcasing boring American & Western brands.
