I also have a large collection of 1:18 scale and other scales diecast cars, a hobby I carry over for decades. Nice to see someone out there also have same hobby as I do!
Excellent collection Wide range of cars, and manufacturers. My collection is mostly Auto Art, GMP, Highway 61, Ertil,UT,Kosho, Biante,Exact Detail,Classic Collectables, and a few others. I appreciate your Solido and lower end cars. I’ll look for those more. I’ve been afraid to purchase from some of the lower end manufacturers lower than Ertil, because I may love the car feel I may be disappointed in the quality. Like Anson and Miasto, but I’ll start looking closer and purchase from them more in the future. I have also been disappointed in closed Diecast. I purchased a few closed Ferraris because the opened versions I’ve wanted were out of my price range. Your friends Grand National is a perfect example of a car I have always wanted but wouldn’t purchase because GMP doesn’t have opening doors and trunk, but he seems to enjoy it anyway. It just makes me feel good to see adults like myself who enjoy the diecast collector hobby as much as I do!! Enjoy and save me a few more. Thank you Dennis
Love the Buick grand national in the shadows. . . Then you took it out 😃 Awesome collection! I have about 40 1:18’s and have difficulty storing displaying them 😂
gt2 from ut is far from 964 era, it's a classic for after they decided not to kill the 911; it's a 993 911 gt2 evo, the 1st gt2 in existence in a track-only version.
The cars should be displayed properly. Not stored in racks where you can't see them. Makes no sense to have expensive nice cars like this and treat them like tools that are just stored away and only just taken out to look at.
“The cars should be displayed properly” For who, you? In case it escaped you the guy needs access to his models to handle and photograph them. The way he has them displayed works for him given his disability so what’s the problem? Also if he displayed them in glass cabinets have you any idea on how many he would need and the additional room space given the limited height he has to reach and clean them? Do you have any idea how much it would cost for these (I have a modest collection of 80 1/18th scale models and my cabinets have cost over £1,500). This guy obviously loves his car collection so rather than criticise him for not displaying his collection for an able bodied person (I assume such as yourself), how about giving him some credit for building up such an amazing collection and be willing to share it with you?
@@sultanoftippoo3857 I didn't even watch the whole video so I was unaware that he was disabled. Anyway still is a lot of nice cars that some people can't even afford although they are cheap to you Americans (I am from South Africa) so I still see it was a waste as I am jealous these nice models just being stored away like a bunch of tools
@@SherwinR89 well 1 I’m not from America and 2 I’ve learnt it’s pointless to be jealous of anyone over anything (there’s always someone with more than you and always someone with less than you). How about being grateful for your health and think maybe the guy with the model car collection would give it and everything he owns to be able to walk like you and I?
Great collection, thanks for sharing it!! I think I saw a signed photo of French singer Mylène Farmer in your office?! How did that get there? Just interested, since I'm French...
917: CMR as the spare tyre, UH/Eagle has not and the decals are less qualitative, so yeah… cheaper. Your friend wanted to be kind to you…. Plus the tail lights are monochrome (red) vs the CMR being of realistic details.
It's a wonderful collections, but for the most part all I can see are all the front bumpers. I can't see the beauty of the lines of the car, it's like they're all in a giant parking lot. Don't you want to see the lines that make a car take our breath away? Can't tell much from a bumper.
No ferrari 512 m, 512 s, longtail , 512 lm bb bbr , 330 p4, the 512 m one of the most beautiful ,you dont have that? I have the cmr versions , gmp 512m and s longtail .
Lovely collection and a nice guy.

Oh yea?!
your detail shots of every car in its own diorama are spectacular.
thanks for taking the time to show your friend's collection!

A friend of Luc went to France to see a Mylene Farmer show a couple of years ago and brought it back. I'm also a fan of her.
Great story! Yeah she's good, I like her also.@@LIFE_in_118_SCALE

Also, his point about seal models is just wrong. He’s just being kind.
Amazimg...👌
Lindos carros!
They look great, but they take sooo much space, I'll just stick to my Hot Wheels :)))
Is he still collecting?
Absolutely, you should check out the recent video I made a month ago.

Why can't french pronounce the letter H?
Because in french, the letter H is mostly silent.
What kind of job your handicapped friend has?..
I'm in IT. I'm a software engineer
