I really love Phantasms 4 and 5. I might be the only one on the planet, but hear me out: You get to spend a bunch of time with two of horror's best protagonists during 4. Part 5 has the best possible conclusion for this franchise that is perfectly in-keeping with the style, tone, and themes of the franchise I SAID WHAT I SAID FIGHT ME. Great video 10/10 fricheks

I wish I had a room and my films organised as such! Great room and collection. We share much in common, I’m a film buff too, I’m probably 15 years older than you so I actually did a lot of collecting in the 00’s - therefore most of mine are dvds. I have got a load of cool special editions and complete collections - I get blu-ray now but it would be hard to replace so many dvds with Blu-Ray so I just have a player that can play both. I’d like to update them but it would cost a lot and take much time. I have loads of horror (from 1922’s Nosferatu right through to the present) and fantasy and 80’s classics too. We probably own hundreds of films and collections in common. Maybe I’ll get round to organising it one day!

Pretty sweet setup! I wish we had a movie room. All my movies are in our bedroom and my posters are hanging in the garage now which is kinda cool actually.
Are you picking anything up during the Diabolikdvd sale? There's some pretty solid deals. The Blue Underground 4Ks are the cheapest I've ever seen them.

Not sure if you've watched my suggestion but if you haven't check out THE VAMPIRE DOLL, LAKE OF DRACULA, and EVIL OF DRACULA. They are from the early 70s made by the Toho Japanese movie studio. Really good.
I have seen those first two, but still haven’t seen the third. But yeah, the gothic atmosphere in those is off the charts!

Yay, someone else who likes Cutthroat Island! I don't care if most people think it's too cheesy. I happened to watch another Matthew Modine movie recently, Married to the Mob, and I thought this is a pretty good movie I've never heard anyone talk about before.

I rarely buy movies now, only cos tbh we get movies, shows and games out every year. and with our lives, work and other stuff including new entertainment when will we get the time to Re-watch stuff we already seen?
imo we only live once. best not to waste time re-watching too much of the same stuff when we can explore New things

You have a Barrymore theme to your recommendations today. I never knew Lionel Barrymore was in a vampire movie, I'll have to check that out. Ethel Barrymore was in the Spiral Staircase, one of her bedridden roles. Both such great actors!

She had an uniform like Uhura and visited conventions even in USA
So I saw most Star Trek Series and all the films
That's why I am more familiar with Star Trek than Star Wars

@@cobwebschannel first I'm a collector and have been for 30 years. Starwars figures, games, horror movies. I think you can say pleased or lucky to have something. But proud is more about something you've earned. And yeah you earned the money to buy it but that doesn't count 🤣
