Reminds me of another trick called, 'Jack the Bounty Hunter' In that one, Jack (one of the four Jacks) searches for 'the bad guy' after he just robbed the bank and was on the loose. You guessed it, Jack caught 'the bad guy'

@MattMcGurk I did a guess trick to my brother and I got a seven and he asked me to make it a ten and I flipped the next card down it was a ten it was pretty cool nothing compared to yours though

Nice. Interesting to note that this also works even if you allow the spectator to cut the pile (that is about to be dealt into two hands) as many times as they like prior to each deal.
The reason it works is that the initial procedure simply ensures that in the starting pile there are 15 cards between the two cards (the face-up one and the selection). This is the case even after a random cut of the pile. After the first deal, there are then 7 cards between them (even after a cut of the pile) and after the next deal, there are 3 cards between them (even after a cut of the pile). After the next deal, there are four cards left, and the two cards are separated by 1 card (even after a cut of the four-card pile). Hence, after the last deal, the two cards will be together in one pile.
It’s a nice progression from 15 to 7 to 3 to 1 - i.e. (n-1)/2
As a test, if you start with both cards face up, you can follow this happening.

I try and rarely get it. If i keep doing it the same wrong card always flips. Weird
Is it still possible if you have unbalanced combined decks? I have an entire deck combined with only a few cards from another deck.
I’d just use a regular full deck. People may become suspicious if duplicate cards start showing up. It could also be confusing when trying to learn it.
You just saw him do it. It works.
For anyone saying it doesn’t work, here is a likely fix.
I also had it not work several times. Then I realized I was cutting the piles down, rather than across. Form two piles of 15, one above the other. Then cut each deck over, like half of each pile to their right.
At first, I had two piles of 15, then cut about half the stack down. Doing this ruins the whole “two rows” aspect.
Good shout man! A perfect example of a simple mistake that then throws the trick off. Thanks for your comment, I’m sure it will help those making the same error.

How can I get a bicycle card
This card trick is simple and in another level is hard to explain how is done
I keep trying to get this trick to work but it is not always working regardless if I do the same things . I turned the both cards over to see If it's working but sometimes it doesn't go in the same pile as the key card . I must have done it over 100times and it only worked 100 % about 5 times.
Then there’s definitely something that you’re doing differently. I’d watch all the tutorial again, just to make sure. This will work 100% of the time providing the steps are followed. Good luck 🤞

It's works with 1,3,7,15 and even 31. Sadly we can't have 2 pile of 31 cards . Just running around with some math @@
From pile A we get: pile A1 and pile A2
From pile B we get: pile B1 and pile B2
if u put the Queen between A1 and B1, for example: A1 _ "Queen" _ B1
then u need to put the 5 between B2 and A2 like this: B2 _ "5 space" _ A2
A2 _ "5 space" _ B2 is not allow.
Or might be like this:
B1 _ "Queen" _ A2
A1 _ "5 space" _ B2
B2 _"5 space" _ A1 is not allow.

@@MattMcGurk All of them are one less than a power of 2 and the extra card comes from them picking it in the separated original deck, making it a power of 2.
How can I make 4 piles of 15 = 60 when there are only 52 cards in a pack?

For those who are having trouble:
Always align the two initial piles on top of one another as in the video. The cuts of each pile then get set next to these making your four piles.
IMPORTANT:
In other words, row 1 and row 2 will each measure 15. This is how you need to set up the trick.
It will not work if you mix up your rows/columns. Hope this makes sense.

Hey sorry it’s not working. Congrats for trying 100 times! Though if you make the same mistake 100 times then it will also fail 100 times. You just need to figure out where you are going wrong. If you follow exactly what I do, it will work every time.

I’m sorry you’re having trouble. You can see from the video the trick works, I wouldn’t publish something that didn’t. It will a simple mistake that you are just doing something slightly differently. You just need to identify where you are going wrong.
The trick will work everytime. This just means that you made the same mistake each time when re-trying it. It will be simple thing, but you’ll get it. Part of this is actually believing that it will work. Quite often people try once, go wrong and then say the trick doesn’t work. The trick will work every time, providing you follow exactly, you’ll get it
