P.S. In my hurry to re-start the game, I didn't read through the Hallstatt Culture perk so I may not optimize placement in the first episode. I realize things going into episode 2 or 3 before we place too many districts though.
I'm pretty sure she was Elanor of France and England, not just France. Also, you went through the menu tab where the civ stats are. Are you going to do a live reaction to the Civ 7 reveal? I think you'd get a lot of views. I'd watch you for sure.

The no campus next to the city centre is a Gaul thing
I literally just started a Gallic playthrough last night! Perfect timing
It was not the campus but the Gauls that prevented the district being placed next to the city center. You were too focused on the military unit and not on Gaul's abilities :)

Am I crazy or missing something thinking Quill might have wanted to build his Campus in that 5-mountain pocket to the southeast of his capital?
That should really have been for a second city, but he decided to build that on the coast, which kind of ruins the idea. He could have a +4 and a +5 campus with proper city placement, which would've been amazing with the 100% campus adjacency bonus card.

Inspired by this run, I did a Gaul game yesterday. It was fairly crazy the amlunt of science you could pump out early on with a campus surrounded by mountains and mines.
I wish we had the Garlic Empire instead, for the brussels sprouts.

In Civ6 healing is 5/15/20; Civ5 it was 10/20/25.

Eureka's are such a trap in this game sometimes I feel, had 1 turn left on craftmanship and not building any builders and just left it so he'd pop it later

I feel like the Earth Goddess is always under appreciated. It looks like you have a lot of breathtaking appeal. Could’ve had a ton of religious points.

Ok, a new Civ VI lets play. Lets see how far we get, before I get cranky when Quill makes some insane rookie mistakes, because he haven't played Civ for ages :)
So, it took 14 mins for him to forget that he's playing the Gauls, which cannot place districts next to city centers. :)
I wonder how long it takes for him to realize this....

Why does nobody take Divine Spark? Paired with wildcard great people cards in the mid to late game they generate so many great people and give such amazing insta boosts.
You can't build any district near your city center because of the gauls
