- In today's Civilization 6 (Civ6) video we will be placing 26 civs in their true start locations on a Huge Europe map and seeing what happens when the AI is left to their own devices. Just a few of the civs are England, France, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Byzantium, Spain, Russia, and Greece, with plenty more!

I would recommend using the "Barbarian Clans" optional game rules for the next video. That way, instead of having barbarian camps that just spiral out of control, they turn into city states and stop spawning hostile units.

Definitely a good idea as some civs rely on city states for their major strategy (in this game there were Pericles and Mathias, for example).

I don’t think you should remove barbarians, it’s fun to see the civs with big free land fend them of.

@@Chewbert It probably prevents the massive steamroll that would take place with lonely nations if that makes sense, or at least delays and lessens it.

I think it be awesome to see the World Map as it progresses more. I love seeing the colors of the borders expand and change over the course of a game.

Ah yes, AI Eleanor leaning heavily into peaceful domination. So her main ability is that Great Works (Writing, Art, Music, Relics) exert loyalty pressure and cause cities to flip. On top of that if Eleanor is the civ exerting the most pressure a city flips straight to her rather than go through "Free City" status. She can win domination without ever declaring war.
I wasnt 100% sure on this when recording. Safe to say she’ll be gone for future videos 😂

I believe the reason Wilhelmina didn't spawn in is because YnAMP (which I think is what you used for the Europe map) will never spawn in the civ in the last civ "slot". I dunno why it happens, nor do I know of any fix for it, but you might want to pick a "dummy" civ in the last place so that the last civ spawns in :)

Civ AI games are fun to watch. Really love the Civ Battle Royale series, where 60+ Civs fight to the death on a massive world map. Just had the first use of nukes in the current season with Arapaho obliterating the Cree frontlines.
Omg! Love civ, been playing since civ I, it’s how I learned English back when I was 12-13 years old. Civ 3 and 4 are my favorites.

the fact that in rl germany is a country surounded by many powerfull nations, while at the same time it had many internal problems it's really suprising how dominant they have been in history

Please do a huge Asia with Australia. We never get to see Australia with more than a tiny island on the world maps haha
BBG and BBS balancing mods for multiplayer have a slider for barb agression, well one of them at least can't remember which, plus games are more fair as some civ are too OP and even IA can show how OP they are while being braindead.

can you keep the mini map on? saw you turnet it on dureng the hafe way point. and it is nice to have so you can get a better perspektive of what is goving on :D

If you keep the Barbarians for the next one might I recommend the setting that lets their camps turn into city states? Might be interesting for those civs that survive the barb onslaught

I hate loyalty sometimes i feel like some civs never get a fair chance. Plus it usually makes me just raze a resettle instead of keeping a city usually.

I only got the game on mobile, but everytime I put true starting location, the map goes down to standard, instead of “huge/gigantic”
