Each ministry equates to 3.3% proportionally. Hence, only the ANC, DA, and IFP should get leading ministerial roles. Everyone else in the GNU should be considered for deputy positions. It's quite simple. Anything else would not be fair and would undermine the will of the people. This should be the starting point.

PA got 2% which works out at about 3% in the GNU so I'm sure the other parties can spare them one.

How about you have to do an IQ test and score over 110, be over 30 and be married with children in a functional home to be allowed to vote. Then all our problems will be solved. If you can't even make good enough decision to have a functional home then what the hell do you know about economics and what's best for a country.
It is all about salaries. They are not there to serve people. Our leaders are served, they don't serve people
For any other party that is the case yes. But I can assure you in the DA's case they want to have control of portfolios to make the necessary changes to improve those portfolios. It's not about the position but about the portfolios attached to it.

@@zdfmidmzezewa5730 I disagree. You cannot compare development in the Western Cape with other provinces. And the things that hasn't improved you cannot blame the DA for because they have been hamstrung by national government for so long. I guess only time will tell though so we will be able to judge their performance from a national level. But it's definitely not about 'just positions' that I can assure you.

President Ramaphosa is very slow on everything...can he appoint his cabinet... whoever is appointed we will deal with that at that time...we are tired of anchors n analysts speculations.... they create negative publicity.
PA got too few votes to demand a cabinet post, maybe a deputy role, but certainly not a leading role.
Even if they had the votes they have no experience governing at national level they are asking for the impossible they don't have the administrative capability for being a leading party
