Talk Heathen is a weekly call-in television show in Austin, Texas geared toward long-form and on-going dialogue with theists & atheists about religion, theism, & secularism. Talk Heathen is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin.
Talk Heathen is filmed in front of a live studio audience every week at the Freethought Library of the Atheist Community of Austin.
The Atheist Community of Austin is organized as a nonprofit educational corporation to develop & support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing & friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of government-religion separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists & to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.

David-CA has called the AXP show many times and he is a 58 year old air conditioning and refrigeration repairman and his other names are David A Newman aka Lord Methane aka Janice Beams.
It's really not that uncommon. Mental health and retardation issues don't just affect young people.

Being pedantic is not a good attribute, and its certainly not a virtue, moreover, "up" has many usages, relative to ones context, so its certainly not just reliant on ones perspective.
@@kissit012 It actually doesn't. Up can mean the same direction no matter which way you are looking. Up for you isn't up for everyone else. So its more of a situation where it could matter for you but doesn't in this example.

I understand your frustrations. But faith is called faith for a reason. If there was such concrete see it to believe it evidence, faith will be nearly gone. And only faith can please God. For now, you heard that God made everything. You can start by observing how everything was really made. Everything has structure. Each part has specific purpose. Look at the lizard camouflaging to blend into the environment. These adaptations can not happen on its own can they? Such purposeful adaptations. What about your eyes? Such purposeful part of living. They could not have resulted from randomness. Check near death experiences from different times and places to see for yourself the matching testimonies of God and heaven.

Difference between science and religion:
Religion: Let's hold to scripture, whether it's true or not.

I think it was more than once.
David fell out of his crib onto his head, and than kept rolling down stairs out onto the road where a truck run over his head. This is only a little part of why he is a bit slow, religion played a big part of his brain injuries.
