- With EAFC24 in free fall at increasing speed, we thought it would be a good idea to test out FC24's meta inside the confines of gaming's most realistic football engine, FM24.
We go full send on a sweaty 4321 FC24 meta tactic with 3 different teams on FM to see if we can replicate the cut backs, back post headers, whipped pass plus and 71 depth auto press. The results are legit surprising.

Luton had a slump in the new year because, by that point, opposition scouts knew everything about the tactic and your players. If one was doing a serious save. January would be the time to switch to your 'plan B' tactic for a few games.
One thing I didn’t mention in the video is the drawback to simulations…every team had players moaning about playing time by January, which you can’t deal with when “holidaying” and leads to player revolts 😂
@@LeoFC24there is easy way to deal with it. Put the player to transfer list, change his status to “surplus to requirements” and remove him from transfer list immediately without moving forward the date. Do it with every player and trust me nobody will complain about game time(due to changed status) or transfer list (because you immediately removed them from it😁). Checked it multiple times, but I usually put “squad player” status to everybody since I am always using squad rotation and I am not doing simulations on holiday. They might complain about their contract tho but there is no way to control it imo
The adaptive AI is actually much improved this season to allow it to work out your tactics and weaknesses. Feels a bit OP sometimes tbh
First video of yours I watched and I love it. Good topic, good script, good cutting (as well as music and meme moments) overall makes for an amazing pace of the video. I think though, you really need to work on your audio quality, only thing holding you back from getting big views in my opinion. :)

4 3 3 is OP in fm i dominated europe with slavia prague using 433 out scoring every club, 2 UCL wins in 9 season about to get my 3rd this season
First time it’s worked with a flat 3 in midfield for me, I usually use a DM in this type of system.

Oh, one more thing that you probably missed in january was the transfer window. Refusing good offers/not managing players happines will get the you the dip in morale and dressing room atmosphere, and those are at some point even more impactful than tactics.
Yes mate, this 100% impacted results. One of the big drawbacks of simming on FM unfortunately

Crosses are over powered in fc and FM
Form dropped late in the season because they were tired. Have to manage fatigue, rotation and training carefully if you want to do intense pressing every game
You are correct sir, unfortunately a downside of simming is not being able to handle this as well as player unhappiness. Will defo be doing a proper save with this soon

i think it would have been more realistic to have only 1 st and 2 shadow strikers in cam
I was going back and forth with this idea but I usually play with the 2 wider forwards on get in behind with 35 width, so this approach felt better. I’ll give the shadows a try next time 💪🏽
@@LeoFC24 I would have put the on complete forward support, and made them mark the fullbacks. there really isn't a 1 for 1 position for CFs, they're kind of in between everything, but i think that position would best simulate EAFCs "get back on defence" instruction while still getting them in the box for headers.
you missed the main reason 4321 is OP is because one of the forwards drops to be a wide midfielder and defends as a 442
I dunno man, I find defending with 3 CMs easier on FC. A flat 2 in central midfield on defense is easily beaten by a good player imo.

I get you man, I just don’t think it’s the main reason it’s so OP. The full back switching/space to cross, and 3 narrow forwards cutting back to each other is what does it for me. I’m no FC pro though!

What does the medical report look like?;
Barely any injuries on all 3 saves apart from Stoke towards the end of the season. The main issue was not being able to deal with player issues and team talks.
