How to Play Euchre - a partnership trick taking card game for 4 players

This is how to play Turn Up Euchre, a partnership trick taking card game for 4 players. In this game, the declaring team is trying to capture at least three tricks. Failure to do so will mean the defending team earns points. The first team to earn 10 points wins the game.

Thanks. At first I couldn't follow which other Jack becomes trump (Maybe because the audio in 1:06 is overlayed over a different visual). Then I read elsewhere that it's the other Jack of the same color. Easier to remember :)

I understand the joker was introduced into the standard card deck for use in euchre. Though the common form of euchre today does not use jokers. This game fairly easy to learn though it does take some time getting used to two jacks being the high cards.

I have been playing many games with my own house rules that include a 32 card deck (7-A), the Joker, and a no trump option after the turn up card has been turned down. It’s rejuvenated the game for me!
