Fun fact, Nissin makes a tomato soup ramen, and it’s one of if not their most popular ramen flavor in Brazil.
It's surprisingly not bad. Not my personal favourite, but kinda good?
Haven't seen it in years though, so I don't know if they didn't sell well enough here (Bavaria/Germany), or if they don't have it in some shops with really big variety.

Yeah, Nongshim is one of the biggest instant ramyun (korean ramen) brands.
If you like that, then you should try Shin Ramyun.
I was able to try shin recently. I read there was mushroom in it and Google wasn't telling me where so I thought it was in the powder or the soup mix. Then my friend got it for me by mistake and I found it was in the veggie part and I was happy.
My favorite is Samyang ramen
Samyang is pretty good as well but I don't eat much instant ramen these days. When I feel like having ramen I usually just go to the local ramen place in my town because they have excellent ramen with fresh ingredients, plenty of veggies, and the broth/noodle quality is second to none. Yeah, it's almost $10 a bowl but you get a large serving and I can eat on it for two meals so it's really not that much more expensive than most instant ramen (other than Top Ramen and Maruchan obviously, but those are awful).
If I'm going to consume a massive amount of sodium I'd rather do so while eating something that tastes good and isn't processed.

When a British person says its the right amount of spice, you know you need at least 10x more
I visited London once in 2008 for a week and I swear that black pepper is too "spicy" for most people in the UK. I remember trying a place that had a spicy shepherd's pie and I asked them to make it extra spicy and it was bland and not hot at all. I've visited America as well in 2012 and at least they used jalapeno's in some dishes so that is at least a little heat. I went to a diner in Houston Texas and ordered a habanero chicken sandwich and that was actually hot and had real habaneros on it.
I doubt you could even purchase habaneros in the UK and they are probably illegal there lol!

@@TheYoshieMaster Ohhh yeah I've had the Raoh packets before! It translates to "King of Ramen" so it definately lives up to its name. I wish I could find the bowls or even the miso packets locally, but I would recommend the Soy Sauce and Tonkatsu flavored packets. Here in the US, you can find them at a local Walmart.

I work at a restaurant as prep and I have to pack noodles ALOT and I have to say in terms of easiest to pack Soba is king. easy to deal with although if left in the fridge long enough it'll start clumping together and forming and ungodly Soba mass which needs to be broken up with oil and the back of your gloved hand. Although rice noodles are worse because if you leave those in the fridge long enough the flatness will make the noodles essentially weld together and any noodles sticking out of the tray lid become solid plastic like shards that are harder to break than steel.

When doing a tasting video like this it helps to have a bin off to the side and a bowl for the noodles you dont intend to eat asfar as flavor packets go they dont really need to go in a certain order so just pre dump them in then water the lot also gives the noodles a chance to soak up flavor

After this video I felt I should try some of my local ramen. Turns out most are shit, so I used Amazon to find better ramen. Surprise, surprise that was easy. Then I decided to look into some of the top ramen you rated and ordered the Curry Cup Noodles. Holy crap! That has to be one of the best ramen I've ever had! You can smell the flavor; its spice is mild enough to just tingle the tongue but not burn your mouth, and the potatoes add a burst of flavor. Thanks, Connor for the video. I would have never found this treasure of instant noodles if you hadn't done this video.

Recently discovered that my local Tesco sells the Nissin Seafood Cup Noodles. Bit pricey, but _so_ good. 10/10
Connor literally has the full Food Wars range of reactions from "Disgusting" to having his clothes torn off by the pure orgasmic flavour of the broth.
As a culinary chef and expert on food I will tell you a bit more about the noodles that Connor mentioned.
Soba is a buckwheat noodle that is distinctive for it's darker color then that of ramen. It is also healthier. Odon is a fatter noodle. Ramen is thin stringy and often times hand-pulled.
So soba is the healthiest out of the bunch huh interesting did not know that, pretty cool 👌

@@bellechica82 yeah, Korean food is super spicy and salty, but since most Japanese people’s tastes are toned down they prefer something light and sweeter. Kimchi itself is different too, less salty and spicy with a tinge of sweetness compared to Korean kimchi.

Tesco started selling the cup noodles a while ago although their variety is pretty slim :)
It depends on whether you go to Tesco extra stores or superstores the extra will generally have a wider range though the flavour’s available are Katsu curry, chicken teriyaki and the seafood one the curry ones my favourite
