I started this one six months and two weeks ago. It began its life as a 3-cylinder Metro convertible, I originally swapped in my high compression turbo GTI engine as a test mule for the setup. The internet is in here now is a fully forged block and internals. Boost is on low setting from the turbo at about 6 to 8 lb once the engine is fully broke in I'm going to start it up at about 20 and then hopefully go to 30 to 35 when I'm done
@southwest82: brother I don’t know what all that mean to be honest but it’s remarkable what you have accomplished in a small amount of time 🍻. I got the same convertible and it’s inspirational
That's actually impressive acceleration for those. I had so much fun in mine.
Good lord 💯💪🏾
Damn... that's nuts.
I hear bad things about stock GTi transmissions but your's seems to be holding up. That's crazy acceleration.
Amazing 😉, how long ago did you start this project!?!

@@southwest82 I can appreciate this info. If you’re still working on it- I’d love to talk sometime. Contemplating a build like this myself

Hope you gotta cage in that thing lol, very impressive though!
Sadly no. It is going to be a weekend cruiser. Not going to race it
