- 1993 Geo Metro Turbo. My first race at the track. Turbine tech performance manifold, RHB5 turbo, 2.5in exhaust straight piped, 255cc injectors, ported and polished head, cold air intake, holley adjustable fuel regulator, electronic boost controller set at 10 psi, and many more mods.

the civic seems faster on straightaways, but the metro can hit corners faster
No way. the driver in that civic was sloppy as hell and didnt transfer any of that cars weight in the corners. he just needs to learn to drive

@bluefox9393 yes the 3cyl 1 liter metro (the little blue car) has a turbo 10psi boost.

A turbo Metro. From the factory, they were faster than entry-level sports cars, like Mustang and Camaro V6s, non-GT Pontiac Fieros and even DeLoreans.

I guess, theoretically, one shouldn't be surprised. The Geo has much less sheet metal to haul around. I'm still surprised, though. I kinda like the Storm better, though. It looks like a mini Camaro.

+Gaming Palooza Empire I remember seeing someone who took a late 80's Metro that was in extremely good original condition aside from a bad transmission, did some weight reduction and very small suspension upgrades, then replaced the transmission with an aftermarket 5-speed geared similarly to a stock 5-speed but a little different. Nothing else aside from rims, tires and the normal safety equipment for a track. The only place this guy couldn't keep up with a stock GTR on the track was on the tiny straight that it had, and that was it.

tens of thousands? mine has rebuilt engine, rebuilt head, nev cv axles, new steering rack, new radiator and cooling system, new alternator, 2 inch exhaust, rear sway bar, 15 inch rims, h&r springs, kyb struts, front strut tower brace, rear 4 point strut tower brace, lower control arm brace, 96 hubs, 96 rotors, and 96 calipers and i've barely put in 2 grand and that's not even the full list.
it barely costs anything to mod a geo metro.

I has a 2000 Chevy metro on boost with a Passat turbo I'm running 15psi I will put some videos later so all the people tat talk ;:-, will she what it does.
