Of course, have a great day! In the center console of my XJ40, I fitted a connector plugged to the + and - of the radio, so I can charge the battery of the car from the inside during the winter. It's easier to remove snow just to open the door than remove all the snow on the long bonnet. :)

You think the process would be relatively the same for a grand marquis ?

Yes ! wiring the subwoofer is the same procedure. There should be a rubber grommet on the driver side firewall that you can puncture to get the 12 V power wire through it. For the ground wire use the trunk frame to grounded it. The aftermarket stereo should be easy there’s a aftermarket harness that plugs into the stock harness. I’ll make a video on this later on the future. Thanks for watching

Hi Jessy, in my 97 XJR I have been struggling with engine whine coming through my speakers. I did an aftermarket stereo a couple of years ago and I've done all of the easy and obvious fixes to cure it. I even added one of those noise suppression things to the power supply for the head unit. If you have had this problem with engine whine coming through your head unit I would love to know how you fixed it :)

I've heard there can be an issue with these cars having a subwoofer in the trunk being able to hear it in the car because of the fuel tank? Is that true?

I had the same problem, I resolved it putting a 15 inch sub and a big ported box lol. But I was told a proper sealed box spec for the subwoofer is just as good. I haven’t tested that theory yet cause I got attached to the bass my set up produce
