The USB-C port currently does work when attaching an external battery. It only charges the battery when the camera is turned off

Does anyone watching this (or the person who posted this video) happen to know if Leica has made any comment on why they did not incorporate phase detect in this body? It just seems weird considering how much the camera costs, the year it was released, and the fact that phase detect seems like an obvious choice for a brand who likes to fancy themselves makers of caneras that don’t get in the way of the experience. Having only contrast detect and not phase detect sort of causes problems for wedding photographers, wildlife photogs, sports photogs, and some family photogs (when shooting pics of unruly children). So why? Anyone have any insight as to why they made this choice?
is it eye AF in SL 601?
face detect is really 2015, this camera should for sure have a proper eye detection...
What 3rd party flash systems provide TTL with it?
I have ProFoto B-10's work 100%
Lol at the iAf, pronounced as eyeAf but being not quite the same. Also, a very sofisticated way of saying that this camera only has contrast detection
No mention of Dynamic range
So sehr ich von Leica und seinen Produkten überzeugt bin - so sehr ärgert es mich, wenn ein deutsches Unternehmen, das damit wirbt "in Deutschland zu produzieren" (und dies auch als Argument für den Preis nutzt...) de facto nur in Englisch mit seinen Kunden spricht.
Muss das sein?
In meinen Augen gehört zu "made in Germany" mehr dazu - und es ist wahrlich keine Schande, primär in der Sprache zu sprechen, für die man mit seinem Produkt weltweit wirbt.
