This is a remake of a famous scene early in Dragon Ball Z and DBZKai, where Goku powers up in front of Vegeta and Nappa. This took roughly 1 year to make. Enjoy!

havanman anime lover They can do the mouth movements rights. It will just make it harder for the other dubs that's why they don't bother.
Its a way to save money all around. It's MUCH easier to animate just the mouth, than it is to animate the entire jaw-frame moving with every word. Also makes it easier on the dubbers too, but that's an after thought.

I can tell the animator used Autodesk Maya.
He (or she, or it) used Anime Studio Pro (Or now MOHO) which allows you to animate with bones and character models. But the detailed movement in the face probably needs way more time if you draw it frame-by frame (and it will not be that fluid and high-fpsed). I use Anime Studio too for my animations, but i don't put that much time and effort as @PyroclasmAnimations in my show. Really a great remake!

Chris Sabat re recorded his lines as vegeta for DBz and this clip used clips of both the original funimation dub and the dub for Kai
the classic clip from the OG meme is the ocean dub, different voice actor (Brian Drummond). all the newer dubs by Funimation have Chris Sabat instead.

As for the kanji on Goku's back, I didn't actually notice until someone pointed it out, now I can't unsee it lol
It was one of the things I forgot to change when recycling Goku's model, which I made before my previous SSJ animation. I was also using DBZ Burst Limit as a reference, which also got the kanji wrong. Definitely going to keep a sharper eye on everything for the future.
Lastly, just reminding readers that I won't be open for more commission work. Some long overdue projects that I'd rather work on instead.
