A viewer requested that I play this pretty tune of off the soundtrack from the Minecraft 1.19 update. I came up with a version featuring the viola as the melody instrument, and I think it fits quite nicely. I hope you enjoy it!

I just started playing Minecraft again recently with a friend and heard this song for the first time. It's so well put together and it made me stop and realize that I could actually catch my breath for once and feel a certain type of peace. Lena Raine did a great job composing this piece, but I knew I had to hear it being played in more of an orchestral setting. Your video is the first and possibly only one I'll find to cover it so beautifully. Well done!

Surprisingly, this track didn't take much work at all, it felt so natural and effortless just to do a simple viola/piano arrangement. It was so much fun to make as well. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you so much! Oh yes, I love that track as well, although “left to bloom” has long sections that are so pianistic, it would be quite challenging for me as I’m not really a pianist. But certainly one I will brainstorm ideas for!

imma replace the original in the game with this using a resource pack. i just find the synth distracting, but it's a really quite beautiful and simple piece that i still want in the game

What size viola do play on?
It's a 15.75" Kiernoziak viola. A little on the small side, but a big powerful sound despite its size.
