- Hello and welcome to another OMSI 2 video!
It's time to look at another spec of Studio Polygon Renown today, and with Stagecoach being such a popular operator on maps such as Scunthorpe and Gainsborough, what better bus to look at than the Stagecoach spec Renown!
Today we're going to be driving the route 122, on a wet and miserable day. It's no secret that this is quite a demanding bus due to the sheer amount of detail, however it seems to handle the bus and the weather with ease today!

"Who needs reminding to pull away when safe" Considering here in south east Kent the amount of drivers who have smashed the top deck into railway bridges including one who took the entire roof off just the other week, I think a little reminder to check their surroundings isn't beyond reasonable lol.
As someone who lives in Torbay, it's good to see the Renown in Stagecoach livery for Westcountry - as it should be. In real life, the Golden Hop 122 open-top buses operate in Torbay connecting Babbacombe, St Marychurch, Torquay Harbour and Paignton, predominantly as a tourist bus. It does run through a real holiday park though.
The Streetlite HEV’s that Stagecoach own in Sheffield will never look right.
There’s just something about the Stagecoach livery on Wrightbus vehicles that looks odd 🤣

Don't forget Joe Stagecoach at one point had Dennis Tridents were their chosen deckers and Mercedes-Benz 709Ds were their Chosen Minibus and of course my favourite The Volvo B10M-55 with Alexander PS Bodywork were their chosen single deckers! Now I would love the Volvo B10M-55 with Alexander PS Bodywork in OMSI 2 with their Axle rattle and having seen the B10BLE all of the sounds are identical bar the Indicator sound the B10M-55s I remember had a Click Click Click sound it was the same on the Volvo Olympian's down in Deepest Darkest East Kent!
Now THIS takes me back.. I remember this very spec when First Chester And The Wirral got sold to Stagecoach. Great video joe!

I do like an old stagecoach. Especially in the rain. Makes OMSI just that much more playable.
Strathtay had Volvo Wrights and when Stagecoach took over they had the Volvo's I believe the drivers preferred them over the enviro 300s . A Company near me had a Volvo B10 Wright endurance

I think this bus will really suit the new coming circular line to Westcountry, definitely suits the 8 & 9 on Yorkshire.
Stagecoach in Wigan, cool that is fairly close to me. I only remember seeing them in barbie livery but rebranded to Stagecoach in Wigan.

It came to stagecoach wales and was based at merthyr and brecon for 39 service to Hereford from brecon and it became 21187 and it kept the first bus seats and poles
Any ideas if there’ll be an option for the assault screen, to have a full assault screen (on the cab door and around the ticket machine area)?
Joe i can tell you these never received refurbishments. this exact bus came down to South Wales and became 21187 in the fleet. think it was one of 6 or 7 renowns we got here. can't remember though
I find it strange how even though Stagecoach mainly bought Voith gearboxes their earlier B10Ms had ZF, like batches K-DAO, ,L- N-TDU, N-VDC. Only later on changing to Voith when Volvo upgraded the THD102KF to the DH10A as with the the R-XVM, R-HFS lot. But not as if Volvo never offered Voith as Mainline had Voith in G-NWA, H-THL, N-CKY, etc.
Could you share what settings you use for Omsi?
I didn't think stouter owned stagecoach anymore didn't they get taken over recently too by Inframobility?

joe i wander if someone will make a b7tl viking or a e400pack so we donot have to put up with the london citybus 400
Stagecoach are also dominated by Alexander Dennis bodies but with scania chassis and engine, double deckers have a bigger rear end and single deckers are heavy duty
