Elantris is my favorite Brandon Sanderson novel 💙 Probably because it's the first book of his that I ever read, so it holds a special place in my heart 💙💙💙
I’ve been feeling a bit slumpy lately too! I need to find something that really grabs my attention but haven’t been able to find it just yet. A Curse so Dark and Lonely was one of my favorite YA reads of the year! 😊
Hi Reagan! Just wanted to let you know that I recently found your channel and am absolutely loving it! I've been an avid reader my entire life, but haven't read nearly as much as I would have liked over the past several years. Your channel has really helped me rediscover my 💜 for 📚. Thank you for that. 😊 P.S. Love that top!
So glad you read some fun books and avoided the reading slump! I read all Kendare Blake books in June (the Three Dark Crowns series and Anna Dressed in Blood series). It was a fun reading month!
You would LOVE white hot kiss! (I admit the name is not the best) it’s the perfect slump book for when you just need a happy and fast paced story! Please read it, I want to know what you would think of it
City of stairs has been on my radar for a while, I started the audiobook, but at the time I couldn’t sit down and focus and listen to it. I loved the first bit that I read though, and I’m super excited to pick it up! (but in a visual format this time)
Silversurferrr I really want to read Circe! I love mythology so it’s definitely on my tbr and the cover is so pretty. The Name of the Wind is also on my list
I just binged the Dark Elements trilogy after reading Storm and Fury this month. Honestly, I think White Hot Kiss is totally underrated. Yes, the name is what it is, but it's so much fun! I read Storm and Fury first, not thinking it was going to be an issue, and while that means I did spoil myself for a number of things, I still had the best time reading the original series.
5:14 I added to my want read list on Goodreads. I love beauty and the beast. And I really wanna read this book. I'm picking it up, the next time I go to Barnes and Noble.
I just have about a hundred pages left of A Conjuring of Light by V. E. Schwab, and my heart is torn to pieces, but I am loving every second of it. Thank you for helping me find a new favorite series!
yes I've been feeling the same, don't know what to read ! this often happens during the summer because I usually read fantasy all year round but Sometimes I'm not in the mood for it when it's super hot outside and contemporary/romance isn't my favourite genre... but I know I can always count on you for some dope recs, definitely want to read Little Fires Everywhere ! (and I'm still really enjoying the Keeper of the lost cities series I'm on book 3 !)
ahh who doesn't just need a good angsty YA fantasy every now and then!! lol I want to read A Curse So Dark and lonely now! also yes the Crazy Rich Asians books were so fun, Astrid was my fav!!!
Little Fires Everywhere sounds really interesting! I'm looking into more Brandon Sanderson while struggling to avoid reading Oathbringer (I don't want to be stuck waiting for the next one!) and Elantris sounds pretty cool :)
I was doing pretty bad, then I had a day where I just sat down and finished 2 books I had started in the past (I have a great memory for books/characters/plots so I can pick it back up and start where I left off even if it's been years. Which is useful. Found a new author too, Darcy Coates, she writes ghost stories and the one I'v read so The Carrow Haunt, was really good. ^_^ I plan to start Craven Manor today.
This month I finished "Beautiful Revolutionary" by Laura Elizabeth Woollett, and I absolutely loved it. It was about Jonestown, so I knew how it was going to end, but something about her writing just sucked me in.
Currently reading The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner and i would really recomand The Last Namsara(fantasy, dragons, chosen one),really AMAZING,i was so into it i couldn't let it go😍😍😍
I want to read The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin from your recommendation but I’m terrified of tsunamis and drowning, like they’re my worst fear, and I know you mentioned that natural disasters occur in that series, do you remember if there were a lot of tsunami scenes and were they bad? I have anxiety too so it might trigger a panic attack. Love you Regan!
I've only read 4 books this month :< 1. The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown 2. The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan 3. The Dark Prophecy by R. Riordan 4. The Burning Maze by R. Riordan
Me: I've read only one book this month (Wicked saints) 😞🙈Normally I read much faster, but this book slowed me down a lot. Also me: have bought 12 books this month, fearing I won't have something to read 😂 #bookaddicted
@@Ohsheadults yeah, it was pretty decent. Not my favorite book of the year, but still very interesting. (The concept of the story, the characters) For a debut novel it's a good start. 😏
Reagan: reads 5 books
Me: reads 5 pages
Your hair looks super cute like that and I love your top!
Elantris is my favorite Brandon Sanderson novel 💙 Probably because it's the first book of his that I ever read, so it holds a special place in my heart 💙💙💙
You should do an angsty reads recommendation video! Just finished The Wicked King and craving even more angst lol
I’ve been feeling a bit slumpy lately too! I need to find something that really grabs my attention but haven’t been able to find it just yet.
A Curse so Dark and Lonely was one of my favorite YA reads of the year! 😊
I love that you have so much to say for the books you read, it always makes me want to read the books!

I am so excited to start reading A Curse So Dark and Lonely, your description of it makes it seem like it's my kind of book!

I just picked a copy of A Curse so Dark and Lonely. I haven't read anything for three months so I'm excited!
I picked up City of Stairs at my local library sale! I read Foundryside because of you talking about it and I'm excited to read more of his work!
Agree with you on City of Stairs. It is such an intricate tale and such an interesting world.
I am not ready for June to be over, but I’m ready for one of these videos!
Yay!! June was so good. Love u Reagan!♡
i was initially thrown off by the premise of a curse so dark and lonely too but i keep hearing such good things and now i really want to pick it up!!
City of stairs has been on my radar for a while, I started the audiobook, but at the time I couldn’t sit down and focus and listen to it. I loved the first bit that I read though, and I’m super excited to pick it up! (but in a visual format this time)

Omg, A curse so dark and lonely. It was a good read for me. Didn't expect to enjoy it but I did! So glad to find out you like it!
I read Circe and I absolutely loved it. It reminded me for some reason a lot of The Name of The Wind.
Silversurferrr I really want to read Circe! I love mythology so it’s definitely on my tbr and the cover is so pretty. The Name of the Wind is also on my list

Elantris is more philosophical than the rest of the Cosmere. I love it better than Alloy of Law. 😊
brightskysyl it honestly sounded cooler. I’m on 3rd mistborn now I’ll eventually pick that up.
City of stairs seems interesting! Gonna pick that up soon. 😊😊
I really regret passing by A Curse So Dark and Lonely in the bookstore now. It sounds so cool!!
5:14 I added to my want read list on Goodreads. I love beauty and the beast. And I really wanna read this book. I'm picking it up, the next time I go to Barnes and Noble.
I also read Little fires Everywhere, and absolutely loved it! And also I enjoyed The Prince and the dressmaker, and Her Royal Highness a lot 😊
I just have about a hundred pages left of A Conjuring of Light by V. E. Schwab, and my heart is torn to pieces, but I am loving every second of it. Thank you for helping me find a new favorite series!
I’m glad you enjoyed Little Fires Everywhere! You might also like Ask Again, Yes for a family drama

I read 6 books in June. You're one of the peopling shaping my reading as I just finished The Demon King. Working on Way of Kings.
This month I finished "Beautiful Revolutionary" by Laura Elizabeth Woollett, and I absolutely loved it. It was about Jonestown, so I knew how it was going to end, but something about her writing just sucked me in.
Your top is now one of my favorites you own! I am also haunted by the idea of an eternal stubbed toe 😯
Slow June month, working through mistborn and they are long. Malice is on deck though. And either Illuminae or Bring Me Back or Game of Shadows.
Try The Beast's Heart by Leife Shallcross. It's a Beauty and the Beast reselling but told through the beast point of view.
Currently reading The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner and i would really recomand The Last Namsara(fantasy, dragons, chosen one),really AMAZING,i was so into it i couldn't let it go😍😍😍
oh my gosh where is your shirt from? 😍
Have you read The Gentleman by Forest Leo? It's a short read for when you're in a slump.
I've only read 4 books this month :<
1. The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown
2. The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan
3. The Dark Prophecy by R. Riordan
4. The Burning Maze by R. Riordan
What was your favourite of the Trials of Apollo series?
It turns out that White Hot Kiss is on sale for 1.99 on amazon rn!
Reagan I'm wanting to start reading Sanderson, but I'm not exactly sure where to start where do you suggest?
Please please read White hot kiss 😍😍😍 it's very good
CITY OF STAIRS
Is it worth reading the rest of the Crazy Rich Asian series? I don't really like reading gossip/drama type of books.
Rosemary Park my wife loved the first, but couldn’t finish the 2nd
You have to read white hot kiss ( the dark element series) Reagen!! Don't judge the title and cover too early 🤣🤣
Me: I've read only one book this month (Wicked saints) 😞🙈Normally I read much faster, but this book slowed me down a lot.
Also me: have bought 12 books this month, fearing I won't have something to read 😂 #bookaddicted
Did you like Wicked Saints?
@@Ohsheadults yeah, it was pretty decent. Not my favorite book of the year, but still very interesting. (The concept of the story, the characters) For a debut novel it's a good start. 😏
i’ve been reading the same book for 5 months...maybe it’s because it is It by Stephen King...but yet again Zoe read it in one day
I finally read Wicked Saints and I was disappointed 😕
The raven cycle is in the wrong order
Wow...how can you afford $128.00 jean and still live in an apartment in NY?
WHO ELSE LOVES HER
BTW I'm a CZcamsr too!
