      Glad you liked it! You know, you're not the first to say this...maybe I should randomly throw in some quotes and see who catches them...

    The free Span also supports multitrack (VST2 version, you can add for compare up to 4 channels in stereo or up to 8 channels in mono, but only 2 channels visible at a time)
    not as cool as in span plus, more fiddling with the setup, but it's better than nothing.

      check out TDR Prism too, it's also free with a multitrack (up to 4 tracks), it's much easier to set up

      I don't suppose you can post a link for the VST2 version? On the Voxengo site they only have the most recent version available for free.

    Thanks learned some stuff; feel like it would be worth mentioning that you can save static spectrographs from other tracks to compare to yours. That was originally the main way I used the plug-in but now expanding..

    the scroll wheel doesn't work on my span plus. How to enable it?

    • @idlethoughtsmusic
      @idlethoughtsmusic  Před rokem +2

      I'm not sure what could be causing you trouble - it should work by default. I tested mine again on Span Plus versions 1.17 and the on latest, version 1.22. The scroll wheel works when hovering over the X/Y sliders (turn the wheel when hovering over the slider to increase or decrease the range), when setting the filter width (Ctrl + click and hold + turn scroll wheel), or when taking a screenshot (click the scroll wheel), and it worked for both versions. It also worked for Span (free) versions 3.13 and 3.15. I'm running Ableton 11 on Windows and I'm not having any trouble. If you're still having trouble and you've tried all these things, you could message the developer on the Voxengo website (click the Support button on top and send him a message). It says he's currently on vacation, but he'll respond after he returns. Perhaps you've got a unique setup (DAW, OS, or something that isn't agreeing) and this could give him some valuable feedback, and he could find a solution for you.
      Good luck!
