Michael Sawyer If you have 3 friends over and a multi tap Smackdown 1 or 2 is even more fun. I got to be the ref for a triple threat WWF title match between two of my cousins and my friend lol. Voice acting ruined these games.
2008 was fun except for career mode
I loved career mode in 2008, once I was able to figure out how to get all the achievements on that progress report list. That took way too long to figure out though, with no guides on how to get them, so just a lot of trial and error. I hate Universe Mode way more, which they're had since Smackdown vs. Raw 2011. They need to bring back Season Mode like they had in Here Comes The Pain up to 2007 though and make it so you can win ever title on your brand, with storylines leading up to winning the belts, like they somewhat did in HCTP with the tag and world titles.

Yes, and when THQ was active people use to also blame them for all the mistakes and flaws that are created by the actual developers (YUKES) of the games like people are blaming 2K now. Yet, you claim they're "better". Logic.
I miss the svr series. It was so great. Also, it's a shame that the marriage thing with Stephanie didn't go anywhere desirable lol. I mean regardless on if you chose yes or no you still get screwed over.

I always played 24/7 mode as Triple H so the Stephanie McMahon storyline was extra weird

It was his own fault for sending Shane to hit us with a Steel Chair. and blame us. But in RAW they will accept your negative replies but Shane will still show up in the PPV
I swear Triple H has a thing for seeing Steph with other guys. The game angle and all the real life angles like with Kurt and Test can't be coincidental.

My first playthrough I said yes with no hesitation (I was thirsty for Stephanie since Attitude Era).
I was pissed that I got screwed over and set up in a buried alive match.
Why does Vince have a problem with Stephenie marrying one of his superstars if she married Triple H and Vince PROMOTED him for it?

Yeah and what sucks is even if you say no to Steph, the McMahons still get pissed off at your character and they still show that cutscene if him leaving her at the altar, which makes no sense.

I always loved the smackdown vs raw 2008 gameplay but the 24/7 was cut of repetitive and it was always showing you shaking hands with your enemy and I never understood that
Lawrence Brown not for me, I shake and then kick them on the nuts and ddt them on my world title.
Sa bt mine did the same thing to Everytime I win my title match I shake their hand and then I ddt them but sometimes it changes up from time to time. But the one thing I'm talking about is how you would have your enemy talking to you on the phone saying so many disrespectful things and how they don't respect you but when it's time to get ready for the match it shows you either shaking their hand or giving them a fist bump that's the one thing I never understood.

0:00 this one of my least favorite moment on SVR 2008 but in 2007 beating Kurt Angle in WrestleMania was my favorite because is a humiliating scene of Stephanie. she gets mad when she lost and gets punish in front of the crowd. I laugh at that scene

Svr 2008 is the weakest in the series and it had so much potential too! I wish these story modes change depending on your overall so there’s more replay value.
