One of the things that I think makes the Lebron podcast stand out is that unlike most other pods, they actually talk about basketball, instead of just funny stories or discussing narratives. It seems like before, people thought technical discussion of basketball things was just too boring to be worth listening to but people genuinely have a desire to learn and have experts talk about what they're good at on the internet.

More players should definitely do this but I don't think many of the Europeans would want to do it for language/communication reasons. It's probably harder for them to do an entire channel in English and with that their reach is limited to the locals who speak the language. And if I'm being honest, I don't see many players having the personality/charisma of chimdog and can pull of a youtube channel with entertainnig content.
