Yeah man. Couldn't agree more. Spurs aren't my team, but one of Collier/Castle/Topić would be great. Spurs also have the Raptors' first round round pick AS WELL, so they could even draft two point guards in the Lottery to improve their chances of one of them panning out into THE lead guard of the future (alongside Wemby, Vassell, Sochan, Keldon).
I know the Wolves tried that strategy with Rubio (good) & Johnny Flynn (lol)..... but the Spurs organisation is the opposite of that era Wolves organisation was.

@@ferjouquentin6275What are you yapping about? Spurs will have 2 lottery picks only. Spurs are projected to have an own 2nd pick but we can fall out like Pistons did last year and get a 5th pick. It's a top 1-5 guaranteed and rn we're projected to have a 9th pick from Toronto. By the end of the season, Toronto could give us somewhere between 7-14 depending on how they finish. We won't get another 1st round pick unless Charlotte makes playoffs. Other than that, we have like 2 or 3 2nd rounders

Not sure I understand the claim that Topic is not explosive. His first step is probably the best of anyone in this class and it's how he's been making defenses look silly, even when they pack the paint or try to get in front of him in transition to deny him a path to the rim. The way he controls and changes his speed is also impressive.

it’s a mistake that “explosive” is often applied only vertically when people use it. I agree explosiveness should count for stops and starts off the ground and quick launches but people tend to only refer to leapers as “explosive athletes”
@@JaydenFuller that's a good point. Topic can go coast to coast and get a bucket in 4 seconds. Even though he doesn't dunk, I say that's explosive.

love your insight as always. just wondering, has Anthony Robinson II hit your radar? he’s a guard who’s an absolute pest on the defensive end. on top of that he’s a good athlete with decent playmaking chops. he hasn’t gotten too much opportunity yet but once he does i think he’ll hit the draft, whether that’s the end of this year or next year.

Very early to assess but once the real play starts we’ll get a better idea. My lens is from OKC so I’m looking at the bigs and a forward. One look at Castle has sold me on athleticism, size and aggressiveness. Look for some dominant play from here.
If you know what you are looking for there are nice prospects in this draft. If Aday Mara is a second rounder this draft has some depth. I do like the return of size in this draft. You are going to need it with VW and Chet making their way in the NBA.

I would look into Chibuzo Agbo at Boise State. He's shooting 46% from 3 on an extremely high volume. 6-7 and strong and can defend mutiple positions really well. Very high release on his jumper and is rarely bothered by even a decent closeout. Think he could be a really solid NBA role player.
Ryan Dunn is my favorite player in this draft he reminds me of herb jones

Gotta check out Kadary Richmond from seton hall, his team just upset UConn recently but from looks of it through the teams wins and losses he’s been very consistent and has a feel for the game on both ends of the floor
think a good addition would be to add their pts, assists, rebounds and % for reference if possible!
OKC should make moves to manage to grab Jdub's brother Cody Williams and either Donovan Clingan or Kel'el Ware, it would make their roster ridiculously deep
Genuine question. Why Zach Edey all the way at the end of your board, and Donovan Clingan at #13? Doesn't make much sense to me, if someone could explain that would be great. I remember everyone was ranking Mark Williams over Walker Kessler too, there was a huge gap between them on peoples' boards and that confused me too. 2 similar players, similar sizes, similar strengths & weaknesses, & Zach is actually averaging better stats than Donovan. I haven't watched too much on either of them, going to do a deeper dive sometime soon.

Ron Holland is that dude. He’s actually playing amazingly rn. Gotta look past the fact that Ignite was injured at the beginning of the year and he played multiple games against Santa Cruz which probably the best non-NBA roster in the world. He’s adjusted way quicker than I ever would’ve and looks like the top pick out of the group unless a team specifically needs a big or a point
. I have a list of late sleepers in the NCAA if you want to know. I have been doing research in every player in the division 1 in the NCAA. Great work though. I love Tyon Grant-Foster

I got a close up look at Dillon Jones at the Utah Valley game and he looked terrible. He was making terrible decisions, yelling at refs and teammates, not getting back on defense. I kept thinking “this guy is not NBA ready”. But, it was just one game so we’ll see.
Joel Soriano from St. John’s I feel is one of the better bigs in college, and definitely a mid to early 2nd rd pick.
