Trying to find my dad's Snipe 1967 I know the number plate number it's GNE 836 E. But I don't know where to start. Can you help me? Dad passed away 20 years ago and this car is a massive memory to me and my mum. She is now 85 and I would to put it in her driveway for her before she passed. If you can help please get in touch. Thank you.
Sadly GNE836E hasn't been taxed or through and MOT since 1996. Best case scenario it is stashed away in a garage but more likely its not longer in existence. I would suggest trying the Humber owners register. It may be known to them.
They never came in those colours originally. In fact, I don't believe they ever came in two colours at all. And with the black vinyl roof ... ... that makes three!
The Imperial did come with a black vinyl roof. It was one of the few ways of distinguishing them from the Super Snipe my father had and a different one I later owned. But I agree with you I don't think they were two tone as standard from factory, but it does rather suit it.
That’s a mint imperial
Beautiful!
The front of these is just simply stunning!.
Too fast and jittery with the camera!
Does this car is still available for sale, thanks again for your humble offer and corporation

Black vinyl roof was standard. Mine came with that over a single body colour for the rest.
Strange no radio,
“Light over dark” colours? Perhaps you need to be informed that “over” means “on top of” or “above”. You have your terminology completely reversed.
