" Fussy cow, had a few of them." đđ
We've actually met Rich and the camera guy on that very day doing the Sella Ronda circle ourselves. They were both really cool and were absolutely bombing it! Specially the camera guy, right on Rich's tale the whole time. Hehehe, I even had my GMBN jersey with me that day! :)
SellaRonda is just epic BTW.
Aha it was great to meet you guys! đ I definitely couldnât keep with him without the Ebike! đ
@@nickpphotographyuk3068 Ooohh Nick, cheers mate! :) Yeah, It was a blast. A very, very cool moment indeed! I've said to you and I'll say it again, as a video creator myself I was way more impressed by your riding with that heavy back pack than with Rich's. :)
The route is just epic though isn't it? We just made it in time for the last gondola. And a couple who were staying in our hotel made it by probably like 25 seconds to spare. :)
Did you spot the group of e bikers with a guide? Probably just behind our little group. Their guide was on a normal bike, obviously a local, he was bombing it like hell!
Anyway! I hope the pints were good that evening. :) They were well deserved indeed. :)
Cheers!
Can this loop be done on one area pass for lifts or is it several, itâs on the list now đ
@@rognevs5695 Well done! It's a great trip! Yes. You can buy a single center pass like Val DI Fassa, Val Gardena, Alta Badia or or entire Sellaronda pass. You can even buy entire Dolomiti pass if you wish.
In Sellaronda you then have 2 choices to go clockwise or cuonterclockwise. I believe cuonterclockwise involves more uphill pedalling than clockwise.
@@Dolencd nice one brother đ
How could anyone watch this without a huge smile on your face.
Rich is an absolute gem. Love his enthusiasm. What a beautiful location. Really have to get up there sometime.
It's a great part of the world to ride bikes!
Love the Iron Maiden socks. Up The Irons!!!
Yep. Mountainbiking.
With all the comotion on the planet..., makes you gonna re-think "life" itself doesn't it while riding a bike surrounded by beautiful scenery. Love and âđŸ to you all and happy riding everybody.
And Rich..., you're awesome Dude.
This is definitely the content I signed up for. Amazing views, really informative and fun to watch!

Love to see Blake have a crack at this on the HT
Yeh there the best
The trail was quite smooth anyway
Definitely the most beautiful, picturesque biking video I have ever seen!!
Did this loop last weekend after watching the vid. Thanks for the tip tip
I've snowboarded that loop. Will have to add mtbing it to the list now! Looks great fun.
I know what I need to do in life. I need to ride that trail.
Sellaronda is the Best place in the world for MTB and skiing.đ
Spectacularly beautiful and looks like so much fun!
Greetings from italy!! Thanks for showing our beautiful mountains :D
Rich - your commentary and catchphrases are just hilarious!!!
But that was some amazing trails, think we could all move to Italy with you, đđ
The commentary on the bike is next level hahaha great stuff mate :D
Glad you think so Frederik!
More like this with Rich please. From his first steps on the HKT podcast to this. Top content. Thanks.
great ride Rich -looks perfect out there for an all day epic
That was awesome. Looks like a nice place to chill too.
More of this please!! great video thanks
This is an amazing area. Did the Sella Ronda in 2016 as a road bike route one day and MTB Alta Badia trails the next. (no lift or e-bike of course) Lots of hiking as well. Unbelievable scenery. Love this area and hope to go back again. Thanks Rich and crew for making this video. I highly recommend this area. Was told by a local to avoid as a snowboarder.
That opening really reminded me of Fabio Wibmer's Out of Mind video
This place looks magic!
Amazing đ
It looks super fun, I will put that trip in my bucket list
orange grips on that colour green reactor look awesome! I want "depressed aubergine" best colour name ever
Awsome! Great vid!
That ride was awesome to watch but I would love to ride it the trail is so clean. Keep up the good work and stay safe out there.

What amazing your! Done last Wednesday in a perfect weather and terrain conditions⊠wide smiles all the time!
Great video which shows very well the entire tour!!
Hope you had a great time Fabio!
Iron Maiden socks. Gotta get them. Oh and nice ride.
Great vid rich. Keep up the good work.
Ur living the life man

Nice one Rich and what a beautiful scene you got there, wish could go there someday

this is why i love les gets, Morzine, and that whole region. you are staying in les gets, take the lift up to go to Morzine, then go up the next and end up in Chatel, wherefrom you can continue to champery and then turn back and do the other trails going the other way. and then each individual bike park has on average like 2 slopes and 6-8 trails, in total they must have over 30 lift excisable-world class trails of all difficulties, you never get bored, it's just insanely amazing
Rich left his mobile chrging on the bedside table in his haste to get out on the trails!đđ€Ł
We want more chair lift access to the Scottish mountains - and some real trails like this stuff ! Who do we need to get onboard to make this happen?
the skiers
Watch out what you wish for. Chair lifts are cool and all, but to have them there is a price to pay, and it's not the ticket for the ride. To justify the costs of a chair lift there must be a big business going in the area, which means you will start seeing a lot of man made work on the mountains and the area around it. Nothing wrong with that of course, but if you like your Scottish mountains rough, wild and as nature made them, you might want to climb up with your legs. Neither of the two choices is wrong, just keep that in mind :)
4000 mts altitude
@@chiccorocker La Thuile in Italy seems pretty natural and wild ...Same as Samoens in France etc .
You really deserved that beer đș. EPIC
Amazing video!! đđ€
Great video. Keep it up!
Love those Epic videos very much!! Love All Presenters very much!! Love GCN toođđ
Ooh god, this reminds me so much of my one ride I did in the alps while on a conference.
It was a great time, but slightly shorter.. one lift and maybe two hours of riding.
I' m very lucky to live here !
Would love to add this on after an Alta Via trek, dolomites are just gorgeous đïž
What a dream
so epic, but i miss those ride done on multiple days like those done by Neil and Blake two years ago... blake fly fishing and riding on the same days... that's another kond of epic day!
5:50 glad to see they put a bar there, I had an epic fall last year after taking that small bridge too fast - unexpected jump + gravelly landing and OTB I went
That was an epic video! Nice one! :D
looked amazing !!! Would love to get fatty out on that trail
Love the video â€ïžđ. I ski there in the winter and do the sellaronda on skies. Bloody love the best place. Need to get there in the summer đ
It's a great part of the world!
The trails are even better with snow on them
What the word Epic was made for!
Iâm so excited to do the Sella Ronda in September. One tip for all of you who will visit South Tirol donât try to speak Italian, try to speak German.
Very nice video !! Mate !! đ€đ€đ€ ...By the way ,anyone come Here is from Hong Kong and ,speaking Cantonese !!??đđđ

It's an absolutely breathtaking scenery. Been riding the Sellaronda Hero Marathon three times, and each one was an outstanding experience. Have to return though with the Enduro bike I guess ;-)
Nice nice nice......
Funny that best lad out there jersey
Sella Ronda is also pretty epic on skis đ
glorious trail
also the cinematography is way better than what you'd expect from any youtube channel
ALSO clean lines neil
Thanks for the feedback Kyle đ
@@gmbn :)
I wish i could travel the world and ride these placesđ
Was there two weeks ago, bike shop and service is in Canezei... thank me later.
Iron maiden socks!! Yes
I never even thought about it until he said the camera man has his E-bike all charged up, but those are probably incredible for them. Would making lugging any gear up the mountain much easier, and I'm sure they're good riders, but it probably helps them with keeping up with these professionals.
Continuity nightmare those paragliders eh! ;-)
After watching gcn trying to kill Ollie over 10hrs of riding, I'm here to watch gmbn trying to kill Rich... Again!đđ€
GMBN next time that you come back to italy.....try the tosco-emiliano trails and views..
Epic. Sorry, I can't resist, were there no men's helmets?đ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ
How can you not like the pink helmet!!
I've not been a fan of bubblegum, but his shoes makes the lid look good.
I have the pink full face and I love it
@@McSchwabl I bet you have no trouble getting conversations going at the track. I try to stay low key with anything flashy but I like to see others letting it shine.
@@saddleweary9709 yes, Iâm a big fan of wear what you want. Before I was always wearing quite normal race kit, but recently I changed things to more colors, my favorite shirt is now the loose riders bad trip shirt đ
@@McSchwabl I'll check that one out. I want more 3qt'er sleeve bike shirts to come out so I can hid elbow pads but it just doesn't seem that's going to happen, I've even thought about baseball shirts but I don't want to be that much of an oddball.
8th !! :) Moving on from my successful speedy comment - the title to this video is exciting and can't wait to watch ,:)
Ive had exactly(!) the same problem on my shimano brakes a week a go. Got up to elevation (from sea level to 1400m), transporting the mtb in the car, and upon arrival fluid leaked out the front brake lever. No brake power left. Needed to clean it and do a full bleed from the bottom up to get it working again.
I thought it was a goner, but it seems to be working ok for now.
It has something to do with going to elevation (lower outside air pressure) and the angle at which the brake lever is transported. if you keep the lever normal horizontal, you dont get the leakage (at least that is my observation for now).
Wow good to know!
Would like to see gmbn crew go mountain biking in asia..
I've snowboarded this Sella Rhonda loop several times, it is a beautiful area.
Where does Rich get his energy from? I will take a slice of that pie then a dollop of those trails please đ€©
He eats a lot of Cannoli!
hey @Global Mountain bike network, why the Shimano brakes leak from the lever? i have same problem with XT 8120? thanks
what an epic ride. Awesome vid, now i want to go there. Also, how tf do you unclip so effortlessly? I have to fight my crankbrothers pedals to get out, so I just keep tipping over bah.
I don't ride clips but I think there are ways to adjust them so they let go easier and you have to fine tune it yourself I'm sure there is a CZcams video out there explaining how
@@malm4640 u can adjust Shimano pedals but not crankbrothers. But, Crankies have these "easy" cleats, which for beginners and those are the one I use. Still Tiiiiimmmmbbbeer, really slow like.
could you do an enduro bike comparison please
Wussup dudes đ€
Rad place, so are you moving in Rich?
Oh I see, we've got us fussy cow. Av had a few in my time.
8:14 fle means breath
The best part is the Maiden socks tbh
You need to do another big epic for gcn +. Come on over to the states Bentonville is claiming the title, capital of the world for mountain biking.
Someone's been moonlighting with GCN eh Rich?
How did the tire combo hold up?
At the start of the video when Rich woke up and then used both his hands to rub his eyes, I wondered what he had strapped the camera to!
Cool vid
How do you fix the rear break lever that was leaking brake oil?
Good question, what kind of repair services are there located at the ski lifts? Above and below?
you should do a presenter game of bike
when was this filmed? It seems so quiet....
Maiden Socks!!!!!!!!! Up the Irons!!!!!!!!!
Just out of curiosity, Iâve noticed that GMBN presenter bikes brakes are different than whatâs in America.. is this standard or do you guys switch them around for your own comfort? My rear brake is on the right side of my bars, front on leftâŠ. Love the channel guys and Iâm fairly new to mtb. Itâs been a blast learning from you guys! Thanks.
I am not part of GMBN but to answer your question over seas they use a different brake set up than we do in the states. I am not sure why it is but there brakes are opposite.
It stems from road bikes and road traffic laws! We drive on the left, so to signal across traffic you need your right arm free. Meaning you can cover the rear brake with your left hand that's still on the bar. It's how bikes are sold here, so what we grew up learning & what we're used to!
