- Taking "on the edge" to a whole new stratosphere. Follow Austrian trials mountain biker, Tom Oehler, on his mission through the Dolomites, taking on the most exposed and extreme MTB trails he could find. Why not take your bike on a via ferrata right?
“The tricky lines are the best,” claims trials rider Thomas Oehler. Never has this been more true than in his new video, Tom Oehler rides the Dolomites, which sees the 37-year-old Austrian head to new heights in the Italian mountain range to discover challenging trails that put his two decades of experience to the test.
"I love all kinds of mountain biking, but alpine riding is my favourite field. I have a strong trials background so when I stepped forward to the mountain biking scene I knew that with my technique I could ride a lot of trails that would be challenging for other riders with a different background."

Where should we send Tom to next? 🏔
Somewhere in Sahara
To me maybe?
To guntersville, AL....when he gets here, find me and we go from there🤙😂
Pyrenees GR11!
Maybe to Madeira? Pico Grande or Pico Ruivo
Really good, like the fact that the "making" is also part of the video because it takes such a lot of work and people to make what looks like one quick, easy, edit.
thx :-)
🙏🙏
specially, the making of is actually made like a video / well made, usually the making off is a bit boring, not this one
I love the ending part where they showed the major people involved
I’ve been waiting for an enduro/ downhill vid like this
and here we are 💥🙏
Amazing, and that last scene with all crew Brilliant
Yeah, definitely one of the best outros ever seen! 👏🏼
@@ThomasHager oh wow
That front wheel control is insane!
Fresh dynamic content, stunning backdrop, super skilled rider having fun, and RB capturing the lot!! Bravo....
Another high quality production. I really enjoy the cinematography of these vids, thanks a lot for sharing behind the scenes too!
Thank you so much for choosing Italy (where i live) , thank you for letting us see the crew and behind the scene footage.. And -- you did very well mate .. Hi from Italy
What an awesome mtb adventure! Insane location and views! And the riding... 👌🤯 Good job to all the camera and production guys!
Combination of extreme riding and funny scenes :D Great Video!
Outstanding! Truly amazing!
What a film. I love seeing the BTS, it makes the edit that much more impressive.
The ending credits is so creative!!!
Fantastic vidéo, amazing ride 🤩🤩🤩
THAT FINAL SEQUENCE! INCREDIBLE DRONE WORK!
Love this brand. One day I Will have a Liteville 301. Perfect bike to me.
Awesome vid!
Every new mtb launch should come with a video like this.
Absolut krass! Shots und riding on point!
So cool loved the hiker pivot turn is that a new thing 😀😀
Only in Italy where hikers love seeing bikers like myself
@@tom_oehler i was thinking the same i' m in australia and hikers hate mountainbikes .
Amazing bike skills, ability to control fear, and confidence. The crews. Endurance... And the Red Bull in the side pocket of pack.👍😎 Such a dangerous job. Oy
This brought me back to the roots of raw mountain biking 😍. Props to the entire crew. Definitely a team effort with sketchy potential for injury or death. No room for error is right 😂
That Liteville Bike is 🔥. Nice Video
Heart-stopping sections! Whoooa!
Wow nice video guys
Saludos desde Costa Rica ✌️🇨🇷
This guy is most likely the best mtb rider I’ve ever seen. Amazing

Nice
Danny Mc be like.... WTF? Have I been replaced?
Doesn't look like much fun. A lot of hard work!
It is fabulous to see any RED BULL in any dicipliana doing what they like the most or we like to be free with your body, mind fighting the same nature, exerting internal forces to compensate for the same gravity, or adverse conditions of the terrain, altitude, climate . My biggest congratulations to those who make it possible, DIRECTOR, CAMS, ASSISTANTS, STAFF or all those who have to intervene to reach an optimal result, the most key that is also not seen is the EDITING MANAGER, and the high quality of Necessary equipment to be able to enjoy it like this in the blink of an eye.
Is that a normal trail bike? LOVE IT!!!
Yea, it'S a liteville 301 Enduro - 160mm of travel front and rear
Great Vid, great skillz! Can you share details of your 301 160mm (wheel size, tires, rims, fork, rear suspension, pedals , brakes, weight?
@@joebro77 absolutely. I’m using a mullet set up, so 29” up front & 27.5” in the rear. Business in the front, party in the rear 😅 Other then that I’m on Magura MT7 brakes, Kenda hellkat tires, Sq Lab saddle & grips, Syntace Carbon wheels & bar, Syntace pedals, etc... for the video I used dh tires bringing the weight up to around 14.5kg. With my usual set up I’m around 13-13.5kg.
Concerning suspension, I’m running a SR Suntour Durolux fork and SR Suntour TriAir shock
impressed and then noticed he runs flats.. amazing
Yoooo it'is cool
Plot twist: the backpack has a parachute. The new sport of bikebase is born.
Already exists ;-)
Buena brooo
I think Matt and his brother Jono should come and do a video here
That appears to be an SR SUNTOUR fork. Back in the day (20 yrs ago) they were not the type of company to make stuff that would be in a video like this. Are they making higher end stuff these days?
Me and my girlfriend were there on the trail to go to Capanna Fassa when we found them, amazing 😍
nice!
This video is absolutly isane, and the rider is completly crazy
really really nice jobs guys !
ps, what was the name of the music ?
Like it, because I saw Suntour and Kenda and not sectic Fox and Maxxis ;-)
beau!!..
Te saludo desde el año antepasado
How is the bike fixed on the backpack on 3:48 ?
could be the "hookabike" form pushcomponents
@@ThirtynineOUfourteen absolutely right! That's the one
Wow
Doesn't look like this is all on Piz Boé, anyone know what the hiking/ferrata trails are at 1:00 and 1:30?
How do they isolate the bike sounds in the film?
Is he rocking the new Suntour Axon?
In the path of killian bron!!
what suspension fork was that?
Классный гонщик Cool
That guy definitely earned that helmet.
That dude is focking crazy
What bike is he using a hardtail with suspension? Is a liteville 301?
Yeah, scroll down a bit in the comments where Tom describes his bike (LV 301 mullet)
Come to the Himalayas India next time🙏🙏
2:20 Haha. I wish hikers were this amiable.
Best multiuse trail interaction ever!
Real MOUNTAIN biking
Si caminando me caigo haora en bicicleta 👍
Details of that bike plz. Wanna do it 👍
1:50 man was riding moguls on a mountain bike
Could be possible to know where this track is? Thank
Piz Boè, Northern Italian Dolomites
@@GiulioPiemonte I see that it's on the piz boe but I was wondering which path he has chosen to descend....
Can someone please name the first song?
I have to know, how the hell does he do those stoppies with flat pedals??? They look glued to his feet, while I can’t keep my foot on the pedals over small bumps. Anyone who can explain how he’s doing this besides “he’s an MTB god”?
🔝
I mean....i want that bike.
Hi!
Red Bull I really appreciate your channel and I like to talk with you privately but there isn't mail in your about
💯💥👊
Just 😲
Wouah 😲
What is the music???
It's awesome to see what a mtn bike is capable of. Having said that, however, that route is a big no for me. 😲😲👍
if his backpack was actually a parachute i wouldn't be surprised.
Question is: Do mountainbikers really have to be everywhere?
It's a fantastic video tough
