Yep, I think it's looking pretty good so far. Looks like a lot of cotton and rice, will be grown down in the delta. I'm ready!!
for planting rice in Arkansas (IRL) the procedure in game is wrong. USA rice farmers do not plant rice into flooded fields. USA rice farmers plant rice seeds into dry fields & flood the fields later during the growing season
That's how it is in FS25. The asian rice is planted into water and the NA "long grain" is planted dry and flooded after.
Good morning. You must be from Eastern or south eastern Arkansas? I’m from central Arkansas, and spent a lot of time around Monticello and McGehee with the railroad when I was younger.
I’ll never forget the mosquitoes down there. I swear they were big enough to have a radar signature, and I know first hand that they could bite through a denim work shirt and t-shirt.
As Bucket mentioned they talked about in their session that some rice was planted dry. They didnt show that off so hopefully that will be shown at Farmcon or later on between now and Nov. I think they showed off the asian rice planting because 1 it was in the cgi trailer last week and 2 it was a totally new machine with interesting mechanics on the animations and it showed off the waters reaction to the vehicle so it served two demonstration purposes.
The lights and road textures jump out at me.

7:19 There is a pond with animal pen behind the cows. Is it for the water buffalo of another animal? Ducks perhaps?
i'm afraid fog is going to be overdone like fieldstones were in fs22, now i just turn them off in every game save. I still would like to see more of improvement with prop building interiors, the 1D windows made to look 3D are hideous. I do like the fact that the FOV ring is gone. I do like the lighting at night, but so far in previous versions don't like farming at night.
The GFX are looking old at this point, yes better than before, but not even close to what they should be in 2025, look at some UE5 videos and you will see this game is not even close to UE5. I want to see the loading and unloading of crops to see if we are going to get realtime animation of the crops being loaded/unloded, or just a picture that changes from time to time.

- 3D ground? No
- actual realistic machinery physics and suspension? No
- visible vehicle damage? No
- more realistic vehicle sounds and louder hydraulic sounds? No
- better textures for piles of materials? No
- making the game require even stronger GPU for crazy fog and cloud shadows? Yes
It's a copy and paste with shaders just change the number and fog
Have they announced everything coming in FS25 with 4 1/2 months to go? NO
Very excited for this. November seems so far away.

Tbh looks the same. Just depends on how good of graphics your device can handle
Intersting since I dont have fog, god rays, reflections on textures aside from water and water does not react when I drive into it in 22 on custom very high with lots of things turned way up. But its fine if your not impressed you can continue to enjoy FS22 or 19 or 17 or what ever floats your boat. There has been an interesting uptick in my FS19 videos as of late for example.
