I had the Maple bacon dijon crispy chicken with grilled onions on the artisan roll today. I found it to have a very nice slight heat from the dijon and went well with crispy bacon and juicy chicken. I did not care for the grilled onions, but they did not take anything away from the overall sandwich.
@TheReportOfTheWeek I had the pleasure of working at a Corporate Mcdonalds as my first job this year. I maintained the kitchen conditions within very clean standards, cooked the meat to a tender and delicious texture, and made the sandwiches by hand. I can confirm that the item known as, "Grilled Chicken Sandwich," on the menu is by far the healthiest and most delicious dish they have currently.

Idk if you ever got this answer from anyone else, but i worked at McDs temporarily, and i can tell you that how they season both the mcdouble and ¼lb patties, are exactly the same... They have a concoction of a salt and pepper mix, in a dispenser that you squeeze the handle of over top of each patty one single time, so a mcdouble patty and ¼lb patty both get the exact same amount of seasoning, even though the patties are so much bigger.

That is so strange. It might sound weird, but to me McDonalds has always been super on-point with really flavorful grilled onions. If they made a grilled onion and mayo McDouble, that'd be it. Bees knees, dude.

The delivery of the most prevalent onion, "...the crispy onions." was so well presented, my delight has no bounds and my day is rejoice-full. Well done, sir. Well done. You know.. sometimes one's expectations are in reserve, such as the disastrous KFC Closure Incident of 2018 earlier-on, but I can only assume it was to only make my delight that much higher with this follow-on review, like a phoenix from the ashes. So elated, in this delivery, I may choose to challenge the hungry all around the world in a charitable effort to save nations plight of famine. I shall call my new organization, "The Crispy Onions".

very pleased with this rating. When you were seconds away from rating it i found myself saying "please nothing over seven". Completely deserves a 6.5 out of ten. I was disappointed with this sandwich, i would have given it a 6. I thought it was rather bland as well.

I like Mickey D's overall but made the mistake of trying an "artisan" chicken sandwich while in Reno about 3 years ago. While it was a nice looking sandwich it was just too dry and I don't care about the fancy box and guessed that it likely figured into the price. It was no more than an overall dry chicken sandwich. Like you though, always willing to try them again when they try something different of unique for them. Cheers!

It would likely be a textural thing to have both types of onions as you have both crunchy and soft. Although whether they can keep the crispy onions from going soggy seeing as they put them into the sauce seems odd.
The problem with limited edition menus is once you find a new item you like, it's off the menu the next time you go back

I tried the burger at lunch today. It was pretty much what TheReportOfTheWeek said. Either you tasted the crunchy cut up onion rings (possibly from Burger King's dumpsters), or the regular mushy onions. I liked the BK crunchy dumpster onions better.
Overall, the burger was good. It was better than my fav, the McDouble, and also the Homestyle Burger, imo.
That hypothetical situation with the onion question really threw me for a loop.... still a great video, review brah!
