You know. you actually did a great job of explaining the history, issues, housing, entertainment and educational aspects of Mountain’s Edge. I don’t think many people have heard of this lovely community,or you’d have more thumbs ups. Funny, I’ve been looking for a community near Vegas, but not too near it. With amenities and educational facilities and of course, shopping and dining. Seems like ME has it all. Are there any home rentals available on the outskirts of the town?

Thank you so much! Im so glad you enjoyed our video. The southwest, including Mountains Edge typically has a great variety of homes for rent. Even American Homes for Rent is building rental communities, two are being built in Mountains Edge now. - Travis

I purchased my first home in Mtns Edge back in 2005. Back then I loved the fact that it was a bit isolated and not as congested. I also knew that I would get more house for my money and that eventually the SW would grow around it and values would scale. Since 2005 we purchased 2 additional rental homes in Mtns Edge. We have since converted our original 2005 mtns edge home to a rental as well. We now have three Mtns Edge rentals and it has been an amazing investment. We never have issues finding good renters and we get nearly the same rent as Summerlin but paid considerably less for the homes. We love Mtns Edge!

Vegas Community builders should build a smaller house version community that of Seven/Grand Hills; Those communities (as each home is uniquely designed yet none of them stick out like a sore thumb) are spectacular :)

We would love to see some builds like that too. 👍🏻

I have a house in nevada las vegas 89122 thinking to sell possibly within 6 months or so. Thanks for introducing the "Mountain Edge Community", hope to do some research on google; to be considered for my next home purchased. Meanwhile I am confused if my nevada home going up or down price wised. Thanks and keep up the great job🤩

We’re so happy you found our video helpful!
The median home price in the Las Vegas Valley has increased the last two months. The listing inventory is still very low so it's helping to support home prices.
We have an excellent resource on our website (firstandsold.com/las-vegas-housing-market/) along with a monthly newsletter that will keep you updated on the local real estate market.
When you're ready to sell and buy, we would love the opportunity to help 😀

Vegas was awesome years ago (been here since 1990), and we actually live in Mountains Edge in SW Vegas since 2005...would have been great here in SW Vegas but county commissioners like Justin Jones have wrecked this part of town by allowing zoning changes & other horrible decisions that have seriously hurt the community, increased crime, increased density, increased congestion, etc...too bad, it had a great future - now it will just be relatively good...

I notice you didn't talk about the buses now running so the safe isolation of the area has started tp erode. Also seems you glazed over the many low income housing projects being build in Mountain's Edge. Have definitely seen a decline in the 10 years I've lived here.
