OH MY GOOD GOD. When these came out they were all the craze back in the day, if someone in the neighborhood got one, we would go over to other kids houses and watch them and play the games and I remember watching all of them. I had the courage one, codename kids next door, and the powerpuff girls ones! My mom and dad split at that time, so I got double the cereal, so my chances were a bit better. I used to have a sabrina the teenage witch disc (2003 cartoon), I got a groove squad disc as well, and I know I dont have courage or the Power puff girls discs but I swear I still have the codename kids next door disc in a box somewhere.... UPDATE: I found it! It was in a old binder of DVDs its disc 5 with the codename kids next door, and it still works!
I had all these DVDs and they were such a big part of my childhood! It was so exciting to get a new one in the cereal box. I wish they still did these!
I remember having the Ed, Edd, n Eddy disc. I remember watching it in my PS2. I didn't have a computer back then and I probably can't even find the disc anymore.
I have been trying to find this FOREVER. I played it when I was 5 years old & I STILL remember it & finally figured out what it was called 👌🏼 thank you! :)
I still have all five. I was always kinda annoyed though because the Ed, Edd, N Eddy disc had the episode i hated the most and Ed, Edd, N Eddy was my favorite cartoon at the time.
I just found in another video, but they didn't work because they needed to be played from a computer dvd system. I had no idea as a kid, and just thought something was wrong with my dvd player. lol
We actually used to have all five discs, however, the only disc we have now is Disc 3, I don't know what happened to the others, as this was so long ago. One other cool feature included on the discs were trailers for Xbox games at the time, which was pretty rad (it was how I was made aware of Grabbed By The Ghoulies, and by extension, Rare)
Nickelodeon: they love nostalgia Disney Channel: they depend on nostalgia by uploading compilations of classic theme songs Cartoon Network: THEY NEVER COME UP WITH NOSTALGIA IDEAS
I had the Ed, Edd n, Eddy CD when I was 4 and that’s how I discovered the show as well as Johnny Bravo too. The episode from Ed, Edd n, Eddy that I remember being on the CD was one about them being framed for stabbing a hockey stick into the heart of friendship on friendship day in the cul-de-sac.
I actually think I have most of these lying around in my disc cabinet. Probably scratched up a bit but should be mostly playable. I didn’t know these were considered that rare though lol
I have the Johnny Bravo Scooby Doo disc. There was a short episode on it where Johnny was picked up by the gang and went to a haunted house with them. He kept hitting on Daphne lol
I had the one with Scooby Doo and Ed Edd n Eddy and I used to always watch the cartoons all the time, I also remember that dope Dexter's Lab song on there haha
Holy hell! I know for a fact that I still have my DVD. It's the Ed, Edd, n Eddy one that features the episode "If it Smells Like an Ed". It's crazy to think it's rare now
Sucks to be poor, unlike me. I live in a mansion, i can order them to make more disc, but i don't want to. Instead i will watch you suffer trying to work that badly scratched up disc of yours. HA HA!!! Mouseketeers live on!
Rest in Peace Casey Kasem. eBay has some of the DVD’s on the site for sale. But of course the sellers are Charging up the A** for them. They were free with the box
I remember getting the scooby doo disc with courage the cowardly dog. I think I still have the disk but I doubt it's still playable from being scratched all these years. I thought it was pretty cool at the time.
Do you remember the disc having a commercial for upcoming games?? Specifically with the song Get Free by The Vines as the music??? I’ve been looking for this entire DVD for AGES and I thought I was crazy
My memory is a little vague, but I think I remember getting two of these discs: one about "Codename: Kids Next Door" and another about "Ed, Edd n Eddy". I really miss this back in the day.
I had the Powerpuff Girls one as a kid. If I remember correctly, I think it also had a couple of Cartoon Network music videos on it, which were especially cool to have before CZcams came around. Unfortunately, I was a dumb kid and it didn't come with a case, so it eventually got damaged enough that I threw it away.
I collected all 5 when I was 6 or 7 years old. All the bonus content was exactly the same. My 3 siblings and I, who are very close in age, use to watch these DVDs at home or on summer family road trips. Man I hate growing up. I use to hate it when DVDs made you use a computer with the internet to access features on a DVD. We still had dial up at home. (Sigh)... the past😔
I remember having one of these as a kid. I was at my aunts house and I decided to play it. I remember there being a dexters laboratory episode about the Chinese finger trap. I forgot what else was on it but I definitely remember having one of these disks.
I'M SO GLAD I FOUND THIS VIDEO My biggest memories from these discs weren't just the cartoons available on them, but rather the trailers on the disc. Specifically the Grabbed by the Ghoulies trailer present on one of the discs, maybe it was on all of them. Because of that disc I found out about the game, and I begged my dad to take me to Walmart to buy it, which he eventually did. I still have my copy of the game, but unfortunately the DVD-ROM from the cereal box is long gone. Despite me wanting this game and disc I was a big scaredy cat growing up, it didn't take much to scare me, chances are I threw away the disc. But I'm glad to see footage of it online. I think I had the Johnny Bravo one.
THESE ARE RARE NOW!? I remember having one of these disks and watching it over and over again. It was the one with the Power Puff Girls ( A 2 parter episode were the girls had to do random tasks to save the professor from Him. ), Ed Edd n Eddy ( The first episode were some of the kids couldn't find there stuff and the Ed's put Johnny in a tire.) and the last one I think was a KND episode. ( I could be wrong. ) I think it was disk 2.
I actually had one of these DVDs that had scooby doo and Johnny bravo, KND ice cream monster episode, Courage the cowardly dog depression canon ball episode and I think a power puff girl episode. I have no idea what happened to it only that at one point as a little kid I owned one of these disks.
I have the Johnny Bravo and Ed, Edd, n Eddy ones. I like the bonus content they included like the Xbox game previews and comedy shorts with various WB characters.
I can’t believe people remember these!! I still have the Vol 4, Ed, Edd, and Eddy :D But sadly it is scratched up D’X Also, I don’t remember what cereal box in came in but who cares! One of my fav parts was the bonus features where I contained music videos of my fav shows like PPG and Dexters Lab
I owned the Ed Edd n Eddy disc back in the day, which included the episode, If It Smells Like An Ed. I seemed to like it at first being s mystery themed episode, but looking back to it, it’s not as good as I remembered!
I used to play these Cd's on my Car seat Disney monitor every day on my way to elementary school. these were so fun and probably still are. I feel bead for kids from my generation that have to deal with the Fortnite and Roblox kids
When I was younger, there was a similar promotion, but they were DreamWorks DVDs that promoted The Croods by including a sneak peak of it (which was about to come out during the promotion) and either a special or a TV episode of one of their franchises. I had the How to Train Your Dragon DVD and the Madagascar DVD, both of which included a special and an episode of their series (I think? It’s been too long)
I don't remember these CDs, but I do remember seeing some Cartoon-Cartoons cereals on the shelves once. I distinctly remember the Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy, Powerpuff Girls, Courage, Dexter's Lab and I.M. Weasel cereals. They didn't last long, I never saw any ads for them, and to this day, I'm not sure if this is something that actually happened or if I was just having a fever dream.
A had something very similar to this, it was a Cartoon Network promotional DVD for their Har Har Tharsdays lineup, I remember receiving it in my mailbox randomly done day about ten years ago
Back when I was 4 I had a friend who lived in Boston, I’d tried to visit her when ever I was able to she owned all of the discs, sadly I don’t talk to her anymore.
I'm actually glad I never found one of these, the last toy I found in my cereal was hazardous and I'm just glad it came out as easy as it went mid way down
