For questions or business inquiries, please email me at justin@redcreativefilms.com This is a Behind the Scenes look of some EPIC HANDHELD BROLL of a Smoked Margarita I filmed with my buddy Kostas @ Opa Greek Taverna in Rowlett. There's been quite a few creators on CZcams doing some Behind the scenes style videos, which I have never done, SO I thought it'd be fun! I shot this entire cinematic sequence using my Sony a7III paired with my Sigma 35mm 1.4 lens. Also, as you'll see if you watch the video - I used some Neewer LED light panels. These 2 panels cost like $100 total so this is definitely a great budget setup!
Inspired by, as always, Daniel Schiffer and James Matthews, this video is how I film some EPIC handheld BROLL. Had some fun with this one, hope you enjoy! Leave me a comment and let me know what you think, and if I should do more videos like this
    Happy filming!

Love this video. I can't go into a shoot like this without planning my transitions in advance. I always allow for creative ideas as and when they come but that skeleton of basic shots, angles and transitions really helps me.
Amazing how quickly you got through this. Great video, behind the scenes and b roll :) thanks!

Thank you very much for a cool and informative video. I have two questions for you if you could answer. That means a lot to me as I have just started filming b-rolls.
Do you always use Manual focus and set the point where you wanna focus on at the end of each cut ? If you use auto focus when is the best scene to use it?
You talk about the transition and as far as I know, you match the camera movement from one scene to another. However do you also have to match camera movement with objects' movement?
For example, let's say you whip down for one scene so the next scenes starts from whipping down and object also has to start moving with any down movement?
    Have a good one !
